We stayed here twice (pre and post our holiday to the mainland USA). We stayed in both towers of the hotel. Young lady on reception, when we first checked in, looked as though she would have preferred to have been elsewhere. However, on our second check in, the more mature lady, was very helpful. The first room was in the... More

We stayed at the Waikiki Banyan June 5th - 10th 2013. The lobby was nice, very clean, and employees are very friendly and helpful. I was a bit surprised to see how out dated the room was. Though it was cleaned, I felt the pictures on their website are misleading, and we will probably not be staying here again. However,... More

Very friendly. Very clean. They did quite a renovation. We got upgrated to ocean view room for free. Everything you needed, you can find in your suite. Only thing is if they have a fry pan for the kitchen, would be great. Me and my family realy liked our stay at this condo hotel, we had great time.

We stayed for 1 week in tower 1, room 1703. We had a good view of Diamondhead and our lanai overlooked the recreation deck. The condo had everything we needed. It had been remodeled not too long ago with chrome kitchen appliances. The furniture was new, also. The bed was very comfortable. It is very reasonable and the kitchen helps... More

We returned to Hawaii again last week, after spending our holiday there last June. We decided to stay at the Waikiki Banyan again as we really enjoyed it last time and found it good value for money. Like last time, we booked through Koko Resorts which was so easy. The condo we stayed in last year wasn't available so we... More

Great location! If you get a ocean facing room, its better than the view inside of other hotel Windows and alleys. Front desk needs improvement or training. I would ask 4 people the same question and get 4 different answers. The tiki bar in the hotel needs improvement as well. If you eat out and spend most of your time... More

Aloha~ Aston at the Waikiki Banyan is fabulous! Reading the reviews I was leery but happily my personal experience was wonderful. Aston Banyan is in a great location.Close to beach(short 2 blk walk), good restaurants (so many options!), the zoo & Kapiolani Park. We could easily walk with our toddler, surfboard and beach gear and be on my favorite beach... More

We just checked out of the Banyon after a one week stay. As expected (thanks to Trip Advisor reviews!), we were not surprized that the decor was so out of date. We requested Tower 1 as Tower 2 was under renovations (to the outside at least). We were given room 1713 which was spacious, albeit worn and badly in need... More

This is our 2nd year staying here & unfortunately this trip was disappointing. We have rented privately owned units bith times ( 1st thru owner ) & this trip a unit thru Koko resorts management company and based on the unit description made our choice. The decription was not accurate with some items on our must have list being so... More

After paying $5300 in airfares to spend 2 weeks in Hawaii from sydney I am regretful that we didn't spend a bit more money and book a better hotel. This hotel is a couple of blocks from beach and shops/restaurants. Bus stop is very close too. I would probably like to be closer to the beach but its quiet. Requested... More
