After staying a few nights at the Ohana Waikiki West, we moved over to the Ohana Waikiki Malia. This is another great hotel to stay at if you are on a budget! My wife and I stayed here for three days while in town and found it to be all that we needed. The room and hotel in general were... More

i stayed at the Ohana Waikiki Malia last week for 3 nights and was more than satisfied. it is one of the Outrigger group's boutique hotels and offers no-frills accommodation. it is not the Four Seasons or the Sheraton, so don't complain about full-service. they have no room-service for the fact that they don't have an in-house restaurant, however, the... We are going to stay at the hotel for 10 days and it had been wonderful until we got woke up tonight by the parking garage guy who asked us to go downstair to pay our $20 parking immediately at 10:30 pm at night. He said that he will charge us $30 more if we don't go down there to... More

My fiancè and I stayed here for the Pro Bowl and it was great! The rooms were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The IHOP next door is over priced but just walk a block towards the beach and go to a local restaurant - much cheaper. The hotel is in a great location - everything is within... More

I just returned from Oahu, Hawaii. I was there 5 days. My stay could not have been more perfect. The weather, the people, and the accommodations. The hotel that I stayed was the Ohana Waikiki Malia which is an Outrigger property. The customer service was over the top. Ohana means family, and that is exactly what you feel like when... More

This hotel was a very enjoyable experience! It was clean, well furnished, accessible to most everything we needed, and affordable. Our flight was delayed by one day and the hotel personnel were very gracious about it. Upon checkout, they agreed to hold our luggage a few hours after checkout to accommodate our flight schedule. The hotel is designed for the... More

The hotel has a great location for bus, beach, restaurants, etc. But it is very dated (or least the wing we were in was.) First room offerred had a moldy odor. Second one was better but mold was visible on the carpeted baseboard. The carpet itself needed a cleaning - better still replacement. Furniture was fine, though. More

Aloha for submitting your review on tripadvisor. Our location is conveniently located in central Waikiki and is a short stroll to a wide variety of shopping and dinning. I apologize for the inconveinence you incurred while staying in our Luana Wing. This wing is dated and we are working on improvements. We have plans to change the carpet this year.... More

My wife and I went to Waikiki Malia for our honeymoon. The room was very clean. The staff gave us excellent information throughout our trip. Several restaurants were located close to the hotel. The Bus, that goes through Oahu, stops across the street from the hotel. ABC is less than a block away. More

I'm going with 5 stars for the great staff and outstanding housekeeping. My 17th floor room in the main building (Malia Tower) was reasonably quiet and as comfortable as could be. All the "standard" rooms are in the Malia Tower and all have been renovated. But if you pay more for a 1 bedroom unit, you'll be in the infamous... More
