Enjoyed a girls weekend at the Newport Marriott. You can walk to all, shopping and restaurants right out the door. Rooms average size but nicely decorated. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. This is our ninth year going to the Marriott. The rooms are nice and there are plenty of room. We had a room on the fifth floor and it had a patio that runs the entire length of the fifth floor on the harbor side. The rooms have mini coffee makers in the and theres a Starbucks in the lobby.... The hotel is pretty high priced for Newport. It's so pathetic hey charge for wi-fi and breakfast. Any hotel I've complimentary breakfast these days. And little things like a half filled shampoo bottle need to be taken care of ESP in a star hotel like Marriott. More

Great location, easy walking to shops, restaurants and the water. Rooms are clean but quite small and service is not that friendly. Prices at the restaurant are way more than you need to pay for a good dinner in Newport. More
