We just had a great two night stay at the Newport Hyatt. The staff was exceptional and the property was solid. The walls were thin, although for us it was not a problem whatsoever at night. I stayed here because I was running the marathon and this was official hotel. Also picked for convenience to the starting line. Was disappointed with the quality for the price. Not impressed overall. Check-in is not in a good location in the lobby....butts up to close to entrance and no room to move if more than 3 people are trying to check in. The overall decor of the hotel does not fit at all with the classic Newport feel. It was like retro modern and way out of place. Sheets... more

Stayed here for a night in October 2009, not a bad hotel Awesome views!! ,Very clean Theres plenty parking for a fee. Our experience was simply delightful! Guest services as well as staff were very accommodating and helpful. Location is superb...had a great room which overlooked the causeway and the lighthouse. Would definitely return for another visit! more

Nice hotel, make sure you get a king bed as double beds are tiny. Any extras very expensive, no free wireless. more
