My second stay at this group of three inn's right in the heart of Newport. Walking distance to the clubs and shops. I will be back again next time I am in town. The beds and linens are divine. We stayed in the Blue Jewel Inn- Emerald Suite. The suite was very nice (better than picture), sitting room, bedroom with king bed, large bathroom. We had parking behind inn. Breakfast was served at the Black Duck Inn 2 doors down, fruit, vegetable quiche, french toast, coffee, juices. We enjoyed our stay everything was within waliking distance. Would stay again. More

We stayed at NBI on September 10 to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Beautiful weather, so we walked everywhere from the Inn. We did not need our car at all, but we had already seen most of the newport sights. We actually stayed at the Blue Jewel Guest House(just down the street from the Black Duck Inn). Very conveniently located to mansions, restaurants, and shops. Rooms are comfortable and clean. You have to walk down the street to the Black Duck for breakfast, but it's worth it. Great breakfasts and excellent coffee! More

I just cannot say enough good things about the comfortable room and friendly staff at the Blue Jewel. The location is perfect for walking to the wharf, restaurants and other attractions. The off street parking is so convenient. The room was spotless, the breakfast spectacular. I will be staying here every time I visit Newport! More
