The breakfast buffet was good, innkeeper very informed about the historical aspects of the area and eager to please. Parking availability was very good and within close proximity to public library and tourist attractions. Enjoyed talking to others visiting. Our room was cozy. more

This was our 10th year returning to the Spring Street Inn and it was just as wonderful as our first visit. Words cannot express how perfectly fabulous everything was...the accommodations, the food, the location, and especially Pat's warm hospitality. Newport would not be Newport to us without the special charm of Pat and her beautiful home. more

My husband and I stayed at the Spring Street Inn Oct 23-25 for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The house is conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Pat made our stay an "unbelievable experience!" The house touts many original antiques which makes the experience of staying in a B&B a true authentic experience. The... more

The Spring Street Inn is a wonderful place to stay when visiting Newport. It's a very charming house built in the 1850's that's been converted into a B&B. Off-street parking is tight so be prepared to do a little maneuvering, but it beats trying to find a spot on the street. You walk almost everywhere anyway so it's not a... more

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Spring Street Inn very much. If you want to be anonymous in a cookie-cutter room with predictable everything, stay at a large chain hotel; however, if you are looking for a charming, cozy place to spend a few days in Newport, go to the Spring Street Inn. Its hostess is warm and friendly and extremely knowledgeable about her town. Also, she makes one heck of... more

Spring Street Inn is a charming 19th century victorian house with antique furnishings to match. Centrally located in Newport the location is excellent. Virtually all activities are withing walking distance of this wonderful Bed and Breakfast. We truly had a marvelous time at the Inn. The 19th century decor with beautiful antique furnishing and superb bedding fit for a king... more

My husband and I stayed at this inn mainly because hotels in Newport are outrageous and the positive reviews here. The inn has a great location - within walking distance to all the shops and good restaurants in Newport. Other than that, it was just ok. The inn itself was charming, but our room was very small and very basic.... more

Our stay was fabulous and a weekend get-away was magical due to our host, Pat, and her beautiful, well kept B & B. Pat was so knowledgeable about the area and her tips of "must sees" and great restaurants were incredibly helpful. The Inn is charming and our room was so quaint with beautiful antique furnishings, but a surprisingly modern... more

From the first contact with the Innkeeper we knew we were in for a treat. Professional, warm and a true font of information, Pat is the consummate host. The well-located inn itself has been maintained beautifully and care has been taken to use period furnishings. Custom linens are in evidence throughout the inn.The Harbor-view Suite is furnished as a seaside... more
