We stayed at the Victorian Ladies Inn for three nights during our 2 week tour of New England and to visit our daughter who is studying for a year at the URI. We stayed in the Caroline Room at the very top of the house and although the room was quite small it was very pretty and the bedding was... More

I absolutely love the Victorian Ladies Inn...My husband and I have stayed here twice. Last visit was October 2010. Our stays have always been pleasant, the Inn Keepers are always nice and helpful, we check in super easy. Breakfast has always been delicious and the cookies and tea in the afternoon are a great treat! It is a bit far... More

We stayed at the Victorian Ladies Inn for two nights in the Pauline Room and what a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the Innkeeper and all connected with the hotel were charming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was superb, delightfully decorated with lovely period pieces, a small fridge, living flame gas fire and very... More

Only had one very hot night here on our New England road trip. The Caroline was a lovely room, but on the small side and no aircon, just a fan. The inn is beautifully maintained and clean and we were warmly greeted by Harry, our host. One piece of advice on the Cliff Walk, do not go past the Breakers... More

We stayed at the Victorian Ladies Inn for 2 nights. There was some confusion on our part as when we made the online reservation it showed 2 twin beds but our receipt said a queen bed. We were more comfortable with that. The twin beds were short and smaller than the standard twin so my 6' husband didn't fit very... More

I was impressed with the quality of the linnens of this property. I know it sounds like a minor quality but it is really nice the sleep in a extremely comfortable bed with sheets that are soft and warm and do not smell like a pool. The thick and lush bath robes and well as the bath linens are name... More

We have booked with my partner the Victorian Ladies Inn through booking.com. The main criteria was the location for us (it said that the hotel is in 5 min walk from the downtown). First impression was it is NOT close to city center. We could not easily find it because it was already dark and it was hardly visible any... More

This was our first time staying at a B&B as we usually stay at hotels. Wanting to stay within walking distance of the waterfront for the Irish Festival I found this Inn to be it; reasonably priced, within walking distance and recomended on Trip advisor. The building was well cared for and the inside was very clean. Period furnishings made... More

A friend and I stayed here for two nights while on a road trip to see the historic Newport mansions. It is, as the name suggests, an old Victorian house with 3 floors of rooms. There is also an adjacent carriage house that you can stay in. The inn was spotlessly clean, and had all modern conveniences. The room was... More

We stayed in this delightful inn for two nights in June this year. Charmingly furnished in the Victorian style, the inn is well located close to amenities and attractions and is peaceful and quiet. Our room was attractively furnished and the beds were comfortable. The delicious breakfast was served in the elegant dining room and the innkeepers were hospitable and... More
