Actually we needed a place for a Sat night, and this place had availability. Many Newport places don;t have for Sat so this was good. We slept well and liked our room other than it was sooo hot when we entered as no one closed drapes or put on a/c. It was convenient to town and wharf but not to... More

If your looking to stay right in the heart of Newport in walking distance to everything this is the place! We stayed in the Townhouse Suite what a beautiful room with a private deck overlooking the harbor (spectacular view)! Management (Siren Hurley) was very attentive and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. Roof top breakfast anyone ...... More

I stayed here with two other women for a girls' weekend. We had a great time and the accommodations were nice. We stayed in a deluxe king suite on the first floor because it had a pull out couch and a king size bed. The rooms are a little dark, but we didn't have any problem with noise as some... More

Well located just a block off busy Thames Street and a block over from Queen Anne Square and Trinity Church. This is a surprisingly well appointed, repurposed grain/mill/warehouse that retains much of the original exposed brick, beams and stone work. Free parking, while tight, is a huge plus for parking challenged Newport. The reception staff was pleasant and well informed... More

My husband and I had such an amazing stay! The location in Newport is wonderful. The entire staff was pleasant and extremely attentive to our every need. To top it off, the delicious free breakfast was the icing on the cake. We can't wait to return later this summer!

My husband and I stayed at the Mill Street Inn for the first time and had a wonderful experience. We travel to Newport at least four times a year and have stayed at many of the hotels in town. This time we decided to try Mill Street based on the great reviews and convenient location. We were not disappointed. We... More

First off I wish I read the recent reviews before coming here. Simply put, the inn is a rip off for the price. And if the general manager, Caron, treated me nicer than this review would be quite different. She should not be in the service business. Do not stay in the townhouse suite. You walk into a downstairs room... More

Newport is a special place for myself and my fiance. We were in town to take engagement photos and opted to stay at the Mill Street Inn, which is where you USED to prefer to stay when visited Newport. However after pre-stay requests and multiple discussions with the staff, I was asked to pay for a FULL night for a... More

Dear Guest, While we appreciate all guest feedback, in this circumstance I feel that your complaint is unwarranted. The Inn was not dead on either of the days you were here. In fact, both nights we were more than two thirds full. As a small inn, almost every day, we do receive bookings in the day, for the day as... More

We stayed in a townhouse suite, that had a balcony. The balcony was a bit of a joke. It was a tiny "L" shaped area that was built around two sky lights. You could not even have the two chairs sit side by side. There was no screen on the sliding door. There were stains on the carpeting. The brick... More
