I like the town of Medora and love the national park. The community pool that is adjacent to the campground is wonderful with very pleasant lifeguards. However, the campground needs some TLC. The showers were not cleaned the entire length of our visit (3 nights). Our site had an open sewer drain with no cover and was missing the picnic... More

We arrived at the Medora campground (had reservations) on a Sunday night. We spent 3 nights - kids had great time swimming, (city pool within walking distance)riding bike etc. Didn't realize what a big campground this was and near the river so we had fun on the little beach on the edge of the campground. Campground doesn't have paved roads... More

We planned our weekend trip to Medora on what was probably the hottest weekend of the year so we knew we would have to stay at a campground with electricity so we could use our AC in the camper. The price of $25 seemed a bit high but it WAS a tourist town. What was most disappointing was how closely... More

We traveled to Medora with a 15, 14, 5, and 4 year old. We went specifically to see the musical and do the steak fondue. We decided to stay in the deluxe cabin as it was big enough to accomodate our family. This cabin cost us $150 a night and was the biggest ripoff!!!! 2 of the beds had sheets... More

This campground, upon entering seems quiet and restful. As we were getting set up, the first train came through. Unfortunately, they continued coming through blasting horns ALL night long. The next day, as we were trying to recover from a very long, restless night, we were surrounded by VERY loud lawn trimmers. If we could have slept through the noise,... More

As a family we were new to camping, (but I had spent a great deal of my childhood camping) and although I am sure they probably thought we were very inexperienced, they kindly never let on to us about it. They were very, very helpful and the store was nicely stocked. The river was a short walk from our campsite... More

This friendly little campground provides a great stay in Medora. Although it is near a train track, the treed sites and economical price make it a good choice if coming to the area in summer for the musical. We were thrilled with the quality of the Medora Musical production (which is what you would be here for), but the old... More

Overall very pleasant, rv sites could be bigger, the train was some what of a factor the first night. Excellant staff, very friendly and helpful and the manager went the extra mile to help us with a tire issue. The store was nicely stocked and the laundry was great. NO discounts prices were fair GREAT new bathhouse!!! More

The small town of Medora, ND (winter pop. - 100)offers many attractions & two campgrounds in the summer for the traveling Sr. Citizen IF one can afford them! It was very disappointing that not a single discount (AARP, AAA, Sam's Club) is honored for any of the attractions in this "Foundation-controlled" town. Specifically, the Medora Campground, 1 1/2 mi. S.... More
