Open area around pool for dog to walk, but always pick up your dog's waste wherever you walk. Tom Bodette might leave the light on for me, but when I leave I make sure it is all off, including the ac or heat. Area around the motel is nice except in the back. Lots of fast food around and a... More

Our group of two retired couples rented two rooms. In both rooms, we all agreed that the hard beds and flat pillows were very uncomfortable. Also, the desk clerk required that each adult come into the lobby and show identification. She said it was a "state law," even though we've never been asked to do this anywhere else in Arizona.... We were travelling from Vegas to the Grand Canyon and decided to stop over here. I've stayed in a lot of Motel 6's over the years when travelling with my parents and always found them to be fine so long as you take them with a pinch of salt. It's cheap for a reason, so don't expect amazing bedspreads/pillows etc.... More

The good: Along the I-40. Next to McDonald's for breakfast. Across the road a very good diner. The bad: No microwave and only coffee at reception. Receptionist also couldn't help with hot water for tea. The ugly: It's Motel 6, there isn't any ugly, just mediocre and standard... More

Motel 6 may be where they "leave the light on for you", but this location also has a friendly, helpful staff, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere! The rooms are clean, and pleasant, and the hotel is a VERY reasonably priced alternative to the others in the area. DEFINITELY recommend staying here for a SUPER VALUE, and a safe, tidy room!! More

We're traveling from San Francisco to Phoenix on a budget and Motel 6 has played a big part in the journey. They are basic but the rooms are clean, TV, shower and towels. You can get WIFI for $3 for 24 hours which is ok. The location is a circa half a mile from down town Flagstaff but we drove... More

If I can't find a good "Mom and Pop" motel in the area I will go with Motel 6 because it is cheap and basic. This one fits the bill. The one thing I like about Motel 6 is you can negotiate the rate instead of paying the rack rate. Within walking distance of three restuarants including a Denny's. I... More

This Motel 6 is very cheap and clean. Great deal if you just need a place to sleep. Our unit has a problem with the faucet in the sink--- it only had hot or very hot water. I complained to the manager and they took it seriously and made a note of it. When I asked for a discount or... More

Nothing special, like other average Motels 6. Overall clean, almost empty and quiet. Very cheap, will stay there again if looking for no frills. More

Right, well on this very same trip I've recently stayed at Motel 6s in San Diego, Beatty, Las Vegas and now this one. You know what you're getting with a Motel 6, no frills, no atmosphere, just the basics - bed, TV, bathroom. This room was OK, not as hospital-like as some Motel 6s, comfortable enough to serve it's purpose.... More
