Hotel has a beautiful atrium. Furnishings in the common areas are welcoming, and clean. Rooms have been renovated and look good.Comfy beds. Our room was clean. We really liked this hotel over all. However, since it is in downtown not a lot of places to eat nearby on the weekends as they must get most of their customers from downtown... More

I booked this hotel through the Priceline bid option. After I found out this was the hotel I would staying at and read all the reviews for the past year, I admit I was pretty apprehensive about my overnight visit at the end of January. I was pleasantly surprised. I had a king-size room on the 9th floor which was... More

Don't be fooled by Sheraton's website stating "renovated guest rooms" because as of mid-January, only floors 5 through 8 were renovated. It was late in the evening when I checked in and was given a room on the 7th floor. I will admit the room was nicely updated but soon after settling in I noticed something. It was the LOUD... More

I'll keep it short and sweet. Starwood Platinum member for 8 years. Hotel - not up to the Sheraton standard. Parking - bad. Restaurant - both dinner and breakfast were horrible. The waitress was more conerned about us paying the bill than delivering us warm food. Bar - even worse with weak drinks. Room - ok Bed - great!! Check... More

It really pains me to say this, because we are big fans of Sheraton/Starwood hotels, having stayed at literally dozens throughout the world, but this one needs some help. Where to start? The truth is that nearly every aspect of the property was only average or below. The location is good, just off Route 91 in the middle of downtown... More

Not bad rooms for an older property. Bed was comfortable. Laundry room was dingy, and to get detergent you needed to buy a 6.75 bottle at the front desk. Hallway noise is excessive due to all rooms exiting onto a large open atrium. A large obnoxious reception occurring on the 3rd floor could be heard all the way to the... More

My room was clean on the surface and in need of a deep cleaning. There were several cobwebs hanging from the sprinklers and in the bathroom. The issue of parking was simply ridiculous. The main garage fills up by 1000 pm. The signs were not clear as to where to go. After parking illegally, we went to the front desk... More

I talked my girlfriend into choosing this more upscale hotel than our usual Red Roof, or Motel 6 type for our stay during the Equine Affaire this past weekend. While it is closer and got us to the Big E quicker, there are some things to take into account when making this selection and an unfortuneate experience regarding security and... More

Recently spent two evenings at this hotel - I've been here before - very clean, classy and upscale hotel. There used to be valet parking - but no more. :-( Our room was super clean and well decorated. The beds were heavenly! Usually hotel beds aren't the most comfortable but these were super comfy! My only complaint was that after... More

The Sheraton Hotel Company began in 1937, when a pair of entrepreneurs bought Springfield's former Stonehaven Hotel. Within several years, the pair had acquired hotels in Boston, and later even the famous Hotel Kimball in Springfield, which attracted Presidents and dignitaries like F.D. Roosevelt and (later, as the Sheraton-Kimball) J.F. Kennedy. By the early 1980s, "white flight" and suburbanization had... More
