We stayed in Cabin #8 which was huge for 2 people, but I wanted to be as close to the water as possible. The creek runs right beside the back deck which borders the forest and is a wonderful place to just relax. There are a lot of things I love about the cabin. It was clean, spacious, modern, beautifully... More

We have stayed in two different cabins on two separate occasions and could not have been more pleased. The accommodations were spotless, the service excellent and we truly felt welcome. We have already planned our next trip and would not think of staying anywhere else. We visit for the fall foliage change viewed from Shenandoah National Park making Brookside convenient to... More

We stayed in Cabin No. 5 for three nights in December and loved every minute of it. Cool or cold outisde, yes, but cozy inside, and peace and quiet in abundance. Shenandoah is beautiful in winter, too. Someone has put careful attention into every inch of the cabin, and kept every inch clean and in good shape. The brook is... More

We stayed two nights in the smallest cabin. It was a wonderful stay. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The cabin is recently renovated--clean and well appointed. We liked the skylights and the front porch. There is a back door, with a small deck. The brook runs behind the backyard. Easy access to Shenandoah National Park, where we hiked two... More

It's was our first time to Luray VA . We stayed in Cabin 4 for a mid-winter getaway to visit the Luary Carvas for the first time. The people were so very warm and friendly. It was very modern and nicely decorated for a log cabin. The "WiFi" worked which was a blessing for us computer nerds. We will be... More

I've been there twice and look forward to return again in the near future. Clean, convenient, nice people and great food in the resturant. Heads and shoulders above most of the other lodging options in the area. AMERICAN OWNED If you do plan to go make reservations ahead of time or you may miss out like I have a few... More

In an area that has more log cabins than anywhere else in VA, the Cabins at Brookside stand out. The cabins are nicely decorated and the kitchen is well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and everything well cleaned. More

We stayed in Cabin 6 for a mid-summer visit to Shenandoah. We've previously stayed at other mountainside-style cabins, and were impressed with the Brookside. It's simple, clean and well-appointed lodging with easy access (via 211) to hiking in Shenandoah National Park and attractions in downtown Luray. The Cabin 6 layout (two separate bed/bath combos and a separate living room/sitting/eating area)... More

We traveled with our two-year-old son and stayed in Cabin 7. The website gave the impression that the cabins were quiet and secluded but failed to mention that they are located right on the main highway. Jacuzzi was nice after a long travel and the brook behind the cabin was great for wading with my son, but the perks end... More

We stayed at Cabin number 3, and it was just lovely. Clean, cozy, romantic, the hot tube was perfect right in the middle of the room. The cabins are very well localized, the breakfast is also very good, we chose the buffet and had a delicious meal. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. Would definitively recommend. More
