I have stayed several times at Casa del Toro; probably in almost every one of their casitas. Each is right downtown within a few minutes walk from the central plaza. The rates are great and the staff is always willing to help out. An excellent choice. more

My unit was small but perfect for a solo traveler, in a great location, on-site parking included with the cost of the room. It was not luxurious, but a great place to stay for the price. It had a great local flare, very southwestern. There were a lot of restaurants, shops, and sites within easy walking distance. The staff was... more

We enjoyed everything about Casa Del Toro. Paul at the front desk was terrifically helpful. We had the smallest room available (very reasonably priced) and it was totally charming. And the breakfasts were wonderful, easily the best we've ever had at a B&B! more

I stayed at the Casa Del Toro for a few weeks in December. It was by far the best experience I've ever had at any type of lodgings - anywhere. The casitas were large, nicely-furnished, and felt like home. The people, like Paul and Mariela, went way above and beyond to make my stay perfect. And the breakfast... whoa. Seriously.... more

We stayed in one of the casitas on Chappelle St. - the 203 block that are converted army barracks. They are really cute and spacious and affordable. Ours has a wood stove, a kitchen, a queen bed, a TV ... all fine. It would be great if no one else was staying in the block of apartments. However, the walls... more

We stayed 3 nights. The service was outstanding. Paul went out of his way to help us with whatever we needed. The breakfasts were very creative, healthy and delicious. We stayed in #5. Quiet and no traffic area. Walls a little thin, could hear neighbors some. King bed large and comfortable. Furnace in floor at foot of bed a little... more

Having travelled around 4 states (CO, UT, AZ & NM) and staying in top class hotels before arriving in Santa Fe we thought we took a bit of a gamble by choosing this initially quant looking B&B on the internet. Normally the internet pictures of any place tend to make it t look better than it eventually turns out to... more

I generally stay at one of the major hotels in Santa Fe when I go on business. However, I was going to meet my brother and sister-in-law to celebrate my birthday and wanted a two bedroom. A friend told me about Casa Del Toro. I loved it. The houses are very conveniently located to the plaza and have the feel... more

I had a fabulous experience at Casa del Toro during the Indian Market Weekend in Santa Fe August 21-23. I can't say enough wonderful things about the incredible breakfasts Mariela prepared, as well as the breakfasts of the weekend chef. They were so satisfying that I didn't need to eat lunch. Paul, the manager, was tremendously helpful w/recommendations and suggestions... more

We tried this B&B based on it's online ratings. We were disappointed. There are "videos" carefully filmed to camouflage problems. "Cozy and charming" was really "cramped and dirty." The bedroom door leading to the bathroom couldn't be opened without first making sure that the bathroom doors were open creating a constant problem. There was no bedside table, the window AC... more
