We stayed at this campground for two nights in October and decided to move on when rain threatened. The interior roads are dirt and very rutted and the campsites are also dirt and VERY unlevel. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations for places to eat; however, the showers were a BIG... More

This is a older place located about 9 miles out of Santa Fe. The staff were great. Its easy to access downtown Santa Fe and park. The campground is clean but is old. The area is quiet except for barking dogs in the distant homes. Showers were hot. good place for a night. More

This was a great little campground with a wonderful hiking trail. Offers a pool, playground and evening movies. More

Fairly nice campground overall but the bathrooms are worn out. The chrome is gone off the sink drains. No towels provided to clean the sink before use. No stoppers were provided to fill the sinks. You must hold the water faucet down to get water. Water ran all over the counter from one the faucet knobs. Low water pressure in... More

IMO...drove in, everyone is piled & parked right next to each other. I Was there for tenting, yet did not want neighboring teens, RV's, small kids, dogs & most of all Lots of Red Dust & Dirt! This is not for serious Tenters, only babysitters & dusty bottoms! Sometimes reading the package, doesn't mean it's good for you! IOW...IMO...Not the... More

Rancheros advertises that it's a campground, but it's not. It's an RV park with a few small cabins and several tiny, stump filled, back-to-back tent locations. Most of the tent spots are too small for even a four person tent. Which brings me to my next point, that it's not for families. They won't tell you when you check in,... More

Arrived at Rancheros at 5:00pm with our new travel trailer and another couple. We were greeted by two very charming ladies who checked us in very quickly and provided us with lots of information regarding Santa Fe and the surrounding mountains. The campground was typical of NM with lots of pinon trees, dirt roads and unpaved trailer sites. The area... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during our little jaunt through northern New Mexico. This review is of a tent site. Our site was nice sized with a nice big picnic table with a cool canopy over it. Our site was situated within some trees with a driveway spot for our car. The shared bathroom/locker room is... More

We camped here for the long 4th of July weekend, 6 adults, three teenagers, a toddler and two dogs. We arrived in the middle of flooding rains and were impressed at how quickly the staff repaired the dirt roads through the campground afterwards. The ladies who worked in the gift shop couldn't have been nicer - they were always friendly... More

We stayed 4 days. We arrived around 1pm the first day and while parking workers were chipping/grinding up wood right next to our door. It was loud and dusty and continued until about 3:30. The second day it began again around 9am, but we were gone most of that day (thank goodness). The third day was another repeat of loud... More
