We visited Encantado to celebrate a wedding anniversary and loved it. We were upgraded to a private casita and received a surprise treat of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries. The staff was personable, thoughtful, and charming. Drinks and dinner at Terra were fabulous on 2 different nights. We enjoyed being driven into town 2 other nights and calling when we... More

Have I reviewed Encantado before? Yes. Is it as fabulous as I said in my last review? Absolutely! Would you go back? In a heartbeat! This is a destinaiton resort outside of Santa Fe, NM. It is a world away from Santa Fe but is so close you can enjoy Santa Fe with a ten minute drive (your car or... More

We stayed at Encantado in early April & loved it! The location is about a 10 minute drive from Santa Fe. We'd been to Santa Fe many times but wanted more space with a spa and a restaurant on the premises. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good in the bar as well as the dining... I stayed here as part of a longer trip around the South West. I have been in Santa Fe several times before and stayed at the Inn of the Anasazi and the Bishop's Lodge. I must admit that I have never found the absolutely perfect place in Santa Fe, but the Encantado was my favourite. The resort is some distance... More

Encantado is luxury hotel. So be prepared to pay. That being said, you definitely get your money's worth. Yes, it's outside of Santa Fe. If you are from out of town and want a Santa Fe experience, I would stay somewhere actually in the city. Although, Encantado has shuttle service to downtown, Santa Fe is a walking city, and it's... It is quiet. It's not too far from Santa Fe but the considerably more beautiful Bishop's Lodge is half the distance. It is located on a not at all desirable piece of land that was essentially a flat piece of scrub. Add the buildings and you get the feel of a cheap beach resort without the ocean. The bar is... More

Thank you very much for you review. We realize each person seeks different types of experiences in a resort. Bishop's Lodge is a great neighbor and partner and we are thrilled that you enjoy the experience. Santa Fe is a special place and we thank you very much visiting. More

I recently returned from a 3 night visit to Encantado with my mother. We stayed in a gorgeous "casita" with 2 queen beds, a working fireplace, a large bathroom with a separate tub and heated floors and plenty of closet space. We took advantage of much of the resort. We ate a Terra restaurant for breakfast and at the bar... More

My fiance and I needed to get away for a weekend and the time away couldn't have been spent at a better place. The resort is secluded within a very quiet area. However, it is only a few minutes from downtown and the casinos if your looking for action. The staff is excellent and very thoughtful. Overall, a very classy... More

wonderful resort 10-15 minutes from the downtown plaza in Santa Fe. The upgraded single bedroom was excellent, modern, clean etc with a wonderful view. The entire resort is quiet with facilities we couldn't use ( lack of time) and the pool was closed for the winter. The breakfast menu and food were outstanding and the staff polite and efficient. Dinner... More
