The room was very nice the house was beautiful and very peaceful. You close to the riverwalk and the homes in the King Williams district. It's worth the stay.

We have stayed at many B&B's, and the Alamo Street Victorian Inn is one of our very favorites. Robbi and Dan are such gracious hosts. We enjoy visiting with them when we are at the Inn. We like it that breakfast is self serve with granola, yogurts, hard cooked eggs, cinnamon raisin bread and more. Since there is no set...

We stayed for one day during the St. Patrick's Day weekend. It was a great location for all the popular attractions in San Antonio. The staff (especially Sandy) were super friendly and so very helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again if ever back in San Antonio for the weekend.

My husband and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. It is in a great location! Close to restaurants (Mad Hatter, Feast, Rosarios), the river walk and Attractions in the King William district. We walked everywhere very easily. Trolley and bus stop is close by. There is a great neighborhood icehouse next door also. We loved it. Cindy the...

My husband and I spent three nights here in mid February just to get away from the cold winter weather back home. Our room was cozy, and had all the necessary ammenities including a very nice jacuzzi tub. Dan the owner and Sandy the inn manager were very friendly, and truly made us feel at home. It is true that...

Although the house and rooms are nice, I was very disappointed by 3 things. Our bed seemed pretty rickety and needed repair. The air conditioner vent was right over the bed and constantly dripped condensation on my head. The breakfasts were the most disappointing; they were continental-style and the pastries were obviously store bought. For the money one spends at...

Enjoyed the fact that there was no TV. Instead if watching TV offerings (CSI re-runs), or surfing the net, we enjoyed a glass of wine or two outside on the verandah and engaging in long and interesting conversations with the owner Dan and Inn Manager Sandy.
This beautiful old Inn posseses plenty of charm, a convenient location, and lots of...

My bride and I chose the Alamo Street Victorian Inn for a 3 night stay over New Years 2011/2012. We also planned to have our wedding preformed there, just prior to midnight.
Dan & Robbie Boone and Sandy were absolutely fantastic. They helped plan and execute the wedding perfectly. The ceremony ended just at midnight and the fireworks, that the...

Like some of the other reviewers, I was disappointed in a number of ways by ASVI. While the Inn does have charm and its' location to downtown SA is good, the lack of a TV in the room, fictional WiFi, no room cleaning/upkeep for a two day stay ($150 average per day), no hot breakfast (I thought most B&B's prided...

We recently stayed at the Alamo Street Victorian Inn and had a great time. We were looking for somewhere special to stay as newlyweds and i couldn't have asked for a better place! The area is beautiful and it's a short walk to the river walk which we enjoyed the next day. Robbie the owner went above and beyond to...
