I searched for over an hour to try and find an affordable, clean, convenient, well-run, hotel within walking distance to the riverwalk area downtown. An easy walk to the riverwalk and good good value accommodation, this hotel warrants consideration. Breakfast and WiFi are included but parking is $10 per night extra. Holiday Inn Express @ San Antonio, Texas was very gracious and helpful, quality room close to the heart of the town & the Alamo. Agent David was helpful, kind and infomative, as well as personable.
