This was an amazing experience, Peg Camrada treated us as we were extended family to her. The B&B feels like a home to my sister and me. Cozy beds, breakfast, time and friends are so much welcoming that you will never want to leave. Thank you Peg for everything that you did for us..see you next year..hugs!! Joana and Doris..... More

This is our third time staying at the Henry Derby House and we are never disappointed! The place is so charming and with all the modern ammenities you could want. The real treat in staying here is the owner, Peg. She is a delightful story teller. She was born and raised in Salem and can tell you everything you'd want... More

Particularly when we stay in a historical area we look for B&Bs vs. modern, plastic. This house was very old and cozy. The colonial features were charming. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was superb, Our hosts were warm, charming, very attentive. We love the old architecture and winding staircases. The rooms are not big which... More

The Henry Derby House was by far the best B&B experience I have ever had. Upon entering the charming house, my girlfriend and I knew that our weekend in Salem was going to be great. Peg couldn't have been more hospitable and accomodating. She took the time to show us a map of Salem, point out any points of interest,... More

We traveled to Salem for our first anniversary. We chose the Henry Derby House because of it's location and it was well worth it! All of Salem's restaurants, bars and attractions are within walking distance or just a trolly ride away. The inn itself was a beautiful old historic building that enhanced the whole Salem experience. The only draw back... More

Perfect location - close to lovely old section of Salem, walk to train (1/2 hour to Boston) Henry Derby House is a very interesting old house, maybe a ghost or two if you're lucky. Peg is a sweetie, very helpful with lots of local knowledge and starts you off with a good breakfast and friendly chat. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay... More

You can feel the history in this cute old house, and Peg was instrumental in guiding us in our first visit to Salem. She was honest about what was good (Red's restaurant!!! I'm longing to go back -- would have missed it without Peg's recommendation), and what could be skipped (some of the 1,000 witch stores...). The healthy (fresh fruit,... More
