This place is just wonderful. Really charming, clean and welcoming. You can eat on the bathroom floor. We can't thank enough Ada and Donald for all the attentions that they gived us. The breakfast was very delicious and every morning it's different. I really enjoyed the conversations with our hosts and other guests. Learn how to speak french to Donald... More

While I don’t suggest anyone eat off my bathroom floor, I am happy you were thrilled to find our property and services deserving of such gushing compliments. We are so glad that you enjoyed all the aspects of our B&B, just as we were very happy to meet you both and enjoy your company for your extended stay. Donald continues... More

First of all, we need to once again thank our wonderful hosts for holding a package for us for over three weeks. We are looking forward to having it when we get home. We so very much enjoyed our stay with Don and Ada. Mike especially enjoyed his private visit with Don and their chat about their Newfoundland connection. Everything... More

M & L, Thank you for the complimentary Trip Advisor post…and I’m missing the package already. It almost became a member of the family, and I might have just installed it here if we hadn’t put a new one in ourselves this past April…..Don and I are so glad your short stay was a great one, although Salem itself should... We're so glad you decided to stay in Salem for the night and chose our B&B for your last minute accommodations. While vacation plans are sometimes limited, and New England has so much to offer, we’re glad you could spend some introductory time in Salem and will return for a more in depth look sometime in the future. Ada and Donald are perfect hosts, the room (202) was large and very comfortable. The advice from Donald to choose one particular Italian restaurant was spot on, and we had a... More

Ada May and Donald were wonderful hostsat the Amelia Payson B&B. The house was wonderfully decorated and it was very nice that both Ada May and Donald both sat with us during breakfast to see how our trip was going. They made us feel right at home. More

Donald has ties to Nova Scotia so that stands him in preety good company, Ada doesn't need any of that because she's the real deal! Just a great place. Hope that Donald replies to my orb pic!
