We stayed here back in Sept. They have a new manager that is working very hard io make improvements to the hotel. Our room was like new. Clay was always around to make sure we were had everything we needed. The breakfast has been upgraded to include meat, eggs, waffles etc. They still don't flat screen T V's , but... More

We were pleasantly surprised--this is an older hotel but very clean, and the couple who runs it are very nice. All of the rooms are on the ground level and we had a lovely view of the lake from our window. We paid $75 a night for a non-smoking king, and the hotel was practically empty so it was blissfully... We had booked the room very last minute on our road trip. After calling around at other budget hotels, they were the most affordable. we were nervous this would be a not so great experience. We were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room (I owned a cleaning company) and the friendliness of the staff! Not a 5 star... More

If you're only staying one night in Estes Park and it's a summer or holiday weekend, the options are limited. Most places are either extremely expensive or are booked up far in advance. Our favorite place in town is the Silver Moon Inn, but they are almost always full for busy weekends. Of the budget places in Estes Park, the... More

We visitied Estes Park to listen to the elk rutting and enjoy some time in this beautiful area. We were very disappointed with our experience. The hotel is very old and run down. The room was very dark and smelled strange. The room was either very hot or too cold, it was impossible to get comfortable. They are no smoking... More

We stayed here for one night on the 4th of July in room #201 on our way to Denver. Given we were traveling with pets and only staying one night on a holiday in this resort community, our lodging options were really limited. We decided to try the Econo Lodge and left wishing we'd paid more money for a nicer... More

Okay let me start off by saying that I am NOT a hotel snob! If this room had been $100 per night I could have lived with it, but we paid $219 night for a room that had 2 double beds and 1 King bed in the other room. It was really cramped and the bathroom was small. To be... More

We stayed at the Econo lodge in August, 2012. Was the cheapest we could find that was a chain. The pool area, including the pool itself, the hot tub, and the pool building are all under disrepair or repair, depending on how you look at it. It is not a "nice area." It needs a lot of cleanup and repair.... More

Thank you for taking time to comment on your recent stay with us. We appreciate the feedback we receive from our guests. As you pointed out, we are in the process of 'repairing' a number of areas around the property. As this takes time, we are in the 1st phase of updating the property as a whole. We have kept... More

Stayed at this hotel with a friend on a last minute trip. The rates were fair for Estes, especially since the room was booked less than a week in advance.
