My girlfriend and I were looking to spend an anniversary together in a quiet place, and this was the absolute best decision that we could have made. The staff was incredibly welcoming, our cabin was clean, well-stocked, quiet (especially because this was during the off-season), and comfortable. We only stayed for two nights but it felt so comfortable that it... More

We stayed at the Valhalla Resort just outside of Rocky Mountain National Park. The cabins are small but cozy, with a full kitchen and a grill on the deck. We forgot our charcoal briquettes, but the management had some extra that previous guests had left, so we were still able to grill our steaks. Thanks to the staff for everything.... More

We enjoyed our time at the cabin, it was just what we needed... Thank you for being so accomodating with our arrival being much later in the evening. Your service was great and cheerful. We will gladly come again! The Kauffman's More

We have been staying at Valhalla (different cabins depending on the size of our family at the time) for 25 years! We usually come during the off season for the peace and quiet, but just returned home from spending Christmas there. It was beautiful, the weather was great and the cabin (17A) was comfortable as always. The owners are very... More

This place was exactly what we were looking for - clean & quiet with all the necessities and a great view. We stayed in Cabin 14, which was perfect for the two of us. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a charcoal grill on the deck. The management is very friendly and accomodating. The... More

The open air the senic view, it is a cabin retreat. If you wish to be catered to and have your bed turned down, this is not for you. But if you want the true touch of the Rockies and the open air and total relaxation, well don't pass this up. The staff is great, if you need something, just... More

This is our 3rd time staying at the Valhalla Resort. We love coming in the fall to see the Aspen leaves turn, hike in the National Park, listen to the elk bugle, ( all night sometimes )and watch nature in the rut. Elk were on the property several mornings also. The cabins are great! You pick your size. They are... More

We had a long weekend and decided to stay someplace with a view and that had the room we required ( 5 people). Cabin 7 fit us perfectly and was all that we expected. Everything was clean and comfortable. Don't expect everything modern and new, because these are somewhat rustic, but had all the needed requirements for a nice cabin... More

Our family goes to Valhalla at least once a year and sometimes twice, and we've done this as a tradition in the fall for the last 15+ years. We've brought our parents and friends several times. The cabins are very clean, cozy, and wonderful homes away from homes. Our kids have their favorites and the resort is quaint, away from... More

We were making our annual pilgrimage to Rocky Mountain National Park, but waited too long to get our "favorite" cabin. The crew at Valhalla worked with us and stashed us in a different cabin (one we had stayed in a LONG time ago) and then moved us to our favorite and moved our refrigerated stuff while we were traipsing in...
