Solitude is on the outskirts of Estes Park - for us, this was a plus, as "downtown" can be a little more crowded. This gives it a much more secluded feel; we loved it. As with the rest of Estes Park, wild animals sometimes walk around the cabins - if you're lucky, you'll get to see some deer or elk... More

We look forwad to this trip big time, and have been staying in EP for 8-9 years every September. I am always amazed at the trouble they go to for us. These cabins are clean, look like model homes. This year we had two deer that spent the nights under our deck. Elk in the front about every other day.... More

This was our second stay at Solitude cabins, our first being three years ago on a whirlwind national parks tour. When that trip was done, we said we really shortchanged our time in Colorado, and we have to go back and stay longer. So we did. Stayed here 6 nights at the end of July into August. These cabins are... More

Thank you for the great review. We really appreciate you noticed that the cabins are arranged to give a view and the feel of privacy. We would love to take credit for the elk and deer, but they are just kind enough to hang out here. We hope to see you again. More

My husband and I have stayed at Solitude Cabins a few times, visiting our kids who attend a nearby sleepaway camp. The cabins are pleasant to stay in and generally well-equipped. The front desk people we've dealt with have been friendly. When we've needed help with something (for example lighting a grill whose self-igniter no longer works), the maintenance person... More

Thank you for the review. We are glad that we offer a pleasant place to stay. We do our best to accommodate the needs of our guests. We would encourage you to request a cabin with a better view. Some of the cabins have better views than others. We look forward to your next visit. More

Solitude cabins provided just that - solitude. Extremely clean, updated cabin with everything that you could possibly need. We saw elk and deer right from our deck and had great mountain views. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again. More

This is our second time staying at Solitude and we will return as often as we can. Beautiful cabins with a great view! The location is perfect, quietly overlooks Estes Lake and very close to downtown. Cabins are well maintained and the staff is always nice. Wish that the cabins were spaced out a little more, but it worked out! More

We've been coming to Estes Park for over 30 years. We've stayed inlittle cabins...@The Stanley....small quaint little hotels in downtown but, Solitude Cabins are by far the BEST! When we arrived @ our cabin, a meat & cheese tray, bottle of wine & Anniversary Cake awaited us. We had travled all day and it was such a wonderful treat! We... More

Excellent kept cabins in a nice environment. My family has stayed here two times and both with excellent cabins. On one occasion my youngest son damaged part of the cabin in which they were more then reasonable for the repair costs. My issue is the Lady property manager and how she is sarcastic and belittling to someone over the phone.... More

Folks, It is unfortunate that you feel the way you do. As you know we are a beautiful property that prides itself in cleanliness, peace and quiet and yes...service. Unfortunately, it is difficult for guests to understand when they wish to tell us the rates that they would like to pay vs. the rates that we are currently offering. Because... More

I stayed there four days with my wife and her senior high school students, young ladies from Dallas, TX. This was her school's traditional trip to Estes Park Colorado. It was our second time going to the Solitude cabins with the students. We had a great time and very much enjoyed our time in the cabins. The location is very... More
