For our anniversary celebration my husband and I booked and prepaid a 1bedroom suite with jacuzzi overlooking the river at Fawn Valley Inn. When we arrived, to our total shock, there was MAJOR renovations going on. We had to ask the guy running the bulldozer if he could move his equipment so we could have access to our room, the... More

We had a great time with the kids (we had 4). The front desk was very helpful. We loved snowshoeing at no cost, it was a nice surprise. There was a large selection of board games and movies. Very kid friendly, but also a nice place to visit as a couple. We will be back soon! More

Our room hear was great. Exactly like the pictures. The back deck overlooked the water and woods. Loved the fireplace. The kitchen was very useful. The staff great. The wildlife fun (elk and sheep? on the road above) and it is minutes from RMNP. Took advantage of the free snow shoes. More

We stayed only one night to attend a friend's wedding at Della Terra. We were pleasantly surprised by cuteness of this hotel upon arrival. Don't be deterred by the exterior photos - the rooms are so cute (wilderness chic?). We stayed in 253 - the smallest, least expensive room on the property, yet there were still wine glasses in the... Estes Park is on the top of our vacation list, and our time at Fawn Valley Inn was an added bonus. We went in October 2011 during their special buy two nights - get the third free. This helped out with the added costs for of their rooms plus hot tub. The room was decorated to make it feel like... More

This is my 6th stay at Fawn Valley Resort. I keep coming back because the winter package that Rocky Mountain Resorts offers is the just best - stay 2 nights and get the third free. Even if you don't want to stay the extra night, the option of checking out late your third day makes it well worth it. Have... More

Wife and I checked out Fawn Valley Inn in Estes and stayed in a unit with a hot tub on the deck. Does not look like much on the outside but this time of year it was quiet, the private hot tub was terrific, and the mountain decor on the inside was super. Having an elk 5' away next to... More

We stayed in unit 292. The condo is on the third floor. Not (yet) one of the recently renovated condos. Fairly bright accommodations. Living room has large sliding door that opens to a deck overlooking the river; bedroom overlooks parking lot on the other side of the inn (you will be able to frequently see elk from here!) pull-out couch... We pulled up to the front door of our condo building and we were greeted by a large bull elk lying down by our front door. "Hank" and a buddy hung out outside our building most of night. The kids thought this was just great. The outside of the buildings are a bit funky looking in kind of a swiss... More

A group of friends and I were in town for a wedding in Estes, CO and found this wonderful retreat down the street from the Della Terra (location of wedding reception). The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We rented a two bed, two bath suite with full kitchen, dining room and living room (with pull-out couch). Our... More
