The campground sites are on a dirt lot with little to no trees and pretty tight. The pool is nice but very cold, even in July. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is nice that you can take the shuttle from the campground pretty much any where you'd like to go in Estes. Be aware that the shuttle does... More

We camped here in August and were surprised by some facts that weren't posted on the web site for this campground. First of all we are tent campers and the sites with water and electric availability are all very rocky and not very level in many spots. We had to clear a space for our large tent on the most... We've stayed at this campground with our pull behind camper several times and always have a great experience. The pads are mostly pull through with full hookups. They do a great job of spacing out folks if there's room. This time we stayed right across from the campground and a rock outcropping which our 5 year old girls LOVE to... More

Just came back from a 4 days 3 night trip at this campground. I initially booked this without reading the reviews and I was a little worried. There must have been something significant that happened between last camping season to this one as the reviews show and as we had no issues. Pros: Check-in is a breeze, if you come... More

One thing you may want to do is take down your tent everyday. This is the second time we have stayed at this campground and both times we had to leave early because our tent got destroyed in the wind. Having to pay $27.00 for a tent space and then $2.00 for showers is ridiculous. Overall the campground wasn't too... More

MY wife and I stayed at Marys lake campground for about 15 days. We were only staying a week but once my son joined us,it was a very nice place to stay. We have been there before but it was but better this time around. The camp host and office staff was very helpfull and friendly. I know when we... More

This is our second visit to Mary's lake campground. We enjoyed tenting our vacation very much. The new bathroom was a surprise I didn't expect. The staff is friendly and helpful. We'll come back again for sure.

If you're looking for a quiet and secluded camping experience up in he mountains, you're barking up the wrong tree. That said, the campgrounds are only 2 miles from downtown Estes Park, are clean, safe and family friendly. For $2, you can get a steamy 6 minute shower( this is vey hard to come by in the area's campgrounds). It... More

So, travelling with a friend we needed a place to stay at the end of June, not too far from Estes Park and with shower facilities. RMNP campgrounds were full and didn't have showers so I reviewed the two Larimer County campgrounds. Mary's Lake seemed like a wide-open, tree-less campground and also had some less than stellar reviews. However, due... More

I booked a tent site here online. The next day I read the reviews, which were mostly negative. I almost cancelled and booked somewhere else because of the reviews. I'm glad I didn't! Everything we've experienced here is complete opposite of what the reviews said. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, campsites (tents) are no closer together than they are... More
