This was our first trip to the area and we could not have been more pleased with the beautifully designed lodge and spectacular views of the Rockies from our room and other areas of the lodge. The owners and innkeeper were so hospitable and helpful - and such good breakfasts and coffee a bonus! We recommend Taharaa Mountain Lodge highly... More

Our thanks to owners Diane and Ken and innkeeper Jared for a welcoming and wonderful stay. The Lodge is beautifully kept and in a gorgeous setting. We stayed two nights in a junior suite -- the views were amazing, the room was large, bright and clean with nice amenities, and the homemade breakfasts were delicious (and massive!). We were definitely... More

I have been frequenting Estes since I was little. We finally found a place to stay that has beautiful views, hospitable owners and delicious breakfasts. One morning we woke up to 12+ inches of snow on the ground. Our plans had I be cancelled, but we had a wonderfully relaxing day staying at the lodge and curling up near the... More

It was our first trip to Estes Park and we stayed at the Taharaa Mountain Lodge. The lodge is a few minutes drive outside of downtown Estes and the views couldn't be more amazing. The entire staff were wonderful hosts and we loved our room (the Taharaa Suite)! We felt like family. Breakfast was a better version of the standard... More

My wife and I stayed at Taharaa for three days in February. We had a fantastic trip and loved Estes Park. Taharaa was fantastic. It sits atop one of the bigger hills overlooking Estes Park and has grand views of the foothills and of Rocky Mountain National Park. We stayed in the Columbine room and it was very nice. Nothing... This was our third visit to Taharaa Mountain Lodge, and each time we have been treated like long lost family. This is just a beautiful place, with great views of the Rocky Mountains. Each room is carefully decorated and the lodge in itself is a work of art. What sets Taharra apart is that Diane and Ken treat their guests... More

I had driven past his lodge on numerous occasions, but didn't have a chance to visit until New Years eve. It is an absolutely gorgeous facility, but more impressive, are the spectacular views of the surrounding area. The lodge was built so that every room, and I do mean every room, has a spectacular view. Our sleeping room was very... More

The first word that comes to mind is unprofessional. I called & scheduled an appointment for a tour with the owner Diane in advance. Upon our arrival (on time), we were told that the owner was showing the facility to a couple that had dropped in & we would be directed by a staff member. We were asked to wait... More

We are sorry we did not meet your expectations when you scheduled a tour of our Lodge for your wedding reception. Appointments are requested and scheduled as all of our staff assist visitors, not just the owners. We apologize if you thought you would definitely meet with the owner, Diane. You were 'not stiffed' to a staff member as the... More

WOW, my wife gave me a birthday surprise of another wonderful trip to Estes Park, staying at the Taharaa Mountain Lodge. Although we live just down the front range outside of Boulder, CO, a trip to Estes Park & of course the Rocky Mountain National Park as always special. Fabulous getaway. Ken and Diane (plus Lady Astor) are awesome hosts.... More
