Even by Super 8's standards, this was a poor establishment. I should have taken Trip Advisor's reviews more seriously and looked elsewhere. Room smelled damp and/or moldy. Bed was uncomfortable, linens worn and the whole place shouted "deferred maintenance".

From the outside, I didn't expect the room to be as nice as it was after we had asked to see a room. The bedding was "rough" quality material.

You're definitely getting what you pay for. The rooms are basic and clean. The walls are thin. Get a room on the second floor so you dont have to hear the people upstairs walking around and watching tv all morning.

we did not smell cigarrete smoke on no smoking rooms, very clean rooms, location great, pacific ocean is just on the other of the road, breakfast is good, excellent service. if you are going to see national redwood park and want to swim in tha pacific, try this hotel, highly recommended. very good price at $56.oo a night.
