We had the misfortune of staying at this America's Best Value on our way from San Francisco to Seattle and it was, without a doubt, one of the worst hotels we've ever stayed at. We chose it because we'd stayed at another America's Best Value in Colorado previously, and, though not luxurious by any means, it had been decent enough.... more

There are just too many small faults with this Motel for me to recommend it. You can forgive any of the individual problems, but the combination make this a poor motel. The WiFi is very weak. Even though I was given a room where "it is good" I had to stand an the public veranda outside my room to get... more

Pulling into America’s Best Value Inn you leave leave 2009, and enter a time portal back to a vintage motor hotel of the 1950's. With redwood decking and stairwells this motel really is a trip to the past. Check in was easy but the room they gave me was unmade and dirty. They quickly got me another room that was... more

Wow I was plseasantly suprised by this hotel. My mother and I were driving up the California coast line, when we decided to stay in Crescent City for the night. We just so happen to pick this hotel-looking for something economical, but clean and we definately found it. The exterior was a little worn, but you can tell the owners... more

The staff was excellent, friendly & effecient. The room was moderately priced i would even say fairly so, compared to the other options in the area. I felt safe there were two locks on the door in addition to the locking entry knob. The passageways were well lit. the exterior was neat in appearance. They even have a grassy area... more

While this hotel isn't on the ocean it is still a very nice place to spend the night. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and nice. The room had two queen beds, a large television with basic cable, a small bathroom, a large desk alcove, and a fridge and microwave. The spa is in a small building in... more

Geography - Best Value Inn is very close to the Econolodge, not really in the city center (if there is a city center) Room - Average. Old lamps with plastic shielding to prevent the from getting dirty (?? That’s usually a sign to stay out). Room had a refrigerator and microwave (that was DIRTY). Bathroom very very simple. Room was... more

I found out about this hotel on Trip Advisor. It wasn't very fancy at $60, but it was clean and had the basic amenities (bed was okay, continental breakfast, jacuzzi). It is right next to Highway 101 and I was surprised that we didn't get much traffic noise (the windows were closed.) It was definitely worth the money. more

I was happy to see our room was clean and the area was quiet. The bed was a little hard and the walls were thin. The staff was really friendly but the "breakfast" consisted of a few sweet rolls. more

Folks, This place has a few problems. Pictures deceive. I'm not sure what compelled us to choose this place, however, I do know this will be a one time deal. Possibly if it had double paned windows. It didn't. Possibly if it wasn't a construction worker mecca. It was. Possibly just a little less noise. I'm not sure it this... more
