I decided to try this hotel after paying so many extra fees at the Hyatt Regency earlier this year. So I paid the same government per diem rate, but at the HIE I did not pay extra for parking and wifi, AND there was a wet bar, fridge, and sofa in my room at the HIE. Stayed here 1 night end of June 09. This Holiday Inn Express was a great price ($85) for the room (King Suite with Sofa Sleeper). Kitchette. Breakfast for continental was really good, they had a great selection of items. Pool was pretty small. The hotel is located by I-40 and there really is no view except highway and industrial buildings.... more

This was one of the nicer HI Express locations that I have been to. The building was new and very clean. They had an arrangement with the restaurant next door for 15% off your meal. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable room, this is a good pick. more
