The hotel itself is nothing more than average -- I think it's probably an old building. Our group had issues with smoky rooms (on a fully non-smoking property) and the heating system (pumping AC when it was set on heat in mid-winter). This hotel is 3 years old and still feels new. The furnishings have very clean lines and upscale. You didn't hear any street noise from I-40. Great place for the money! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, friendly and very helpful staff. My only complaint is the pool. It was dirty and no one cleaned it for the entire weekend. No swimming for the kids! More
