We spent 1 night here travlling through to Palm Desert. The room was basic yet very clean and comfortable and is very good value for money. The bed was particularly comfortable.

We were in town to visit Organ Pipe National Monument the next day. We checked in during the evening and the night staff was a little distant when we were trying to be friendly. No problem - we checked into room #111 with a King bed next to the lobby. The room itself was fine - pretty big and the...

I had to stay in Ajo on a regular basis for work and the Siesta Motel is the best place in town. It is clean and cute and the owners are very nice and will go out of their way to help you out with anything you need. They really work hard at improving the place and keeping it nice....

We stayed at the La Siesta for two nights in early November and were generally pleased with the room. We stayed in one of the motel type roooms - they also had a good many small cabins as well as a RV campground. Decor is dated but our room was good size with two bouble beds, clean, with tv, microwave,...

Arrived in Ajo late afternoon and after reading reviews on tripadvisor, choose this motel to stay for the night.
There were 2 types of rooms, facing the road with good airconditioning, a plus when staying in the Sonoran desert! , or wooden cabins with lots of character but small showers and definitely feeling a lot warmer inside. We chose the...

This motel may be owned and operated by a veteran but don't expect to get a discount for being a vet or a senior. I was quoted one rate and they wouldn't answer my question if it was the same rate for everyone. Looked like a one way street as far as being a vet goes so I didn't stay...

Small motel on the edge of Ajo and about 35 miles north of Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. Rooms are basic but clean, staff friendly and helpful. Pool area is very pleasant and has well maintained grounds with sun loungers and table and chairs. Additional barbecue area at the side of the pool. Only thing on the downside is the...

Ajo is a very, very small town, but La Siesta was the right choice. Well, it was the only choice since there was no room at one and the other (Marine Motel) didn't answer their phones. It was only 60$ a night plus tax and they charge you when you arrive, works for people trying to stay in their budget...

Nice family-owned motel in an engaging small town near Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument. The small motel cabins are quite basic, but cute and clean, and they have everything you need--standard motel rooms are also available. Good value. There is also a recreation area with a pool, apparently heated in winter. The staff are very personnable. The town has preserved...
