My son stayed here last month for a week or two. It was OK until he was attacked by another patron who had been drinking. I wanted this to be a good place to stay and this part of town is nice but I just can't recommend this place. I am writing this review as I paid for the hostel... More

This hostel is good, but there are a few things to be aware of before you choose to stay. I stayed to visit downtown SLC. However, the hostel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the Temple Square area of the city. There are buses but they are not frequent and still require walking a few blocks for the stop... More

We stayed for two nights in a family room, with a double bed and bunk beds for the kids. There was a small kitchen and tiny bathroom, which was not what we were expecting, but was good news. Everything seemed clean, but it was all a bit old and worn. Beds were squeaky but quite comfortable. We booked via Hostelworld,... More

We called and made a last minute reservation to this hostel, but when our travel plans had to change we were charged for the full price. We made our reservation around 3:30pm, for that evening, and when we our travel plans changed we notified the hostel around 4:30pm. Upon speaking to the same person we had made the reservation with,... More

I've stayed at several hostels in my travels, and overall this hostel pretty much had everything I expected: bathrooms were pretty clean, the common area and kitchen were clean, the rooms were a decent size - no concerns there. BUT, we traveled to SLC in July. We wrongly assumed the rooms would be at a comfortable temperature with the windows... More

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Located in a quiet residential setting but within walking distance to downtown Salt Lake City. Also easy access to public transportation and grocery store. Rooms, bathrooms and common areas are clean. An enjoyable place to stay and I would recommend it to friends. More

This is the first ever hostel we've ever stay and this place certainly gives all other hostel a bad name! When we first check in, the owner, Sam Kim, does not tell us the check out time and when we are late for like 10 mins, he refuses to give us the $10 deposit back. The room was small and... More

My nephew and I stayed here for a ski trip. We got our own room with bunk beds, shower and toilet and it was $25 a night. The place was clean, safe, and definitely worth the budget price. In the mornings you can make your own eggs and toast that are provided. The room also came with a small fridge... More

At first glance this place seems a little questionable looking from the outside, and the inside could definitely benefit from some updating. However, the staff was very friendly, the place was clean, there were multiple common areas, TVs, and kitchens, and there were 3 computers available to use. The neighborhood was really safe and about a 15 min walk to... More
