My wife and I love B&Bs. We have stayed at nearly all of them in the SLC area and for Valentine's Day we tried Haxton Manor and were blown away. The love and care put into the restoration of this home is evident throughout. We enjoyed looking through the photo albums that document the restoration, and reading the newspaper articles to learn the history of this wonderful home. Warm welcoming atmosphere, centrally located. All amenites were wonderful. Great breakfasts! Helpful staff. Fresh flowers in rooms daily, and chocolates (to die for chocolates) on the pillows in the evenings. Close to the Temple and lots of reading material in the rooms on current events. Our room even had a fireplace and sitting room. Again, a truly wonderful experience. more
