For $40 I expect a clean hotel with the basic amenities such as a clean bathroom & towels, clean sheets & a relatively safe area. I got all of these things here. Was it run down, yes of course, but if I wanted updated & new then I would stay at the Hilton. I have an allergy to smoke, so... More

The room wasn't very clean, the shower was very dirty, the glass in the shower. The beds were hard and it was very nosiy. Close to the freeway. Very old building. No blow drier. More

I chose this hotel to save money. I did just that, but I also missed the ammenities and comforts of the Choice Hotels group. If you want to book this $39 / day bare-bones motel ask first about the mass transit construction at the entrance. It can be a nuisance. I chose it over others because the website advises that... Stayed here on the way through Salt Lake City on a cross country trip. I knew enough not to expect anything fancy, just a clean, safe place to sleep, but sadly this was not it. It's just so old, and run down that despite the fact that it looked like they had consistent housekeeping, it's just not enough to fix... More

(I'd give this 2.5 stars if I could, but Trip Advisor doesn't allow that so I rounded up, which is generous of me) I had a last minute business trip that sent me to Salt Lake City, and everything else was sold out. I was stuck with a smoking room (yuck) at this Motel 6, or nothing at all. I... More

Pros: it was cheap front desk person was friendly until something goes wrong cons: construction along N Temple makes it hard to get in and out of businesses along that road a stale smell when I went in the room, even though they just "cleaned" it shady characters walking around the area the feeling of not safe Wi Fi for a... I've stayed in plenty of Motel 6s, and this one (along with one of their Fresno locations) is tied for the worst. My room was very rundown. The toilet seat was dirty. The matress was old and saggy. Also -- at about 3:30 am the night that I stayed there -- some random guy knocked on my door. I'm not... More

My wife and I have stayed in other Motel 6's before, and this one was a bit below par. Because of a lot of construction in the area, access was a bloody nightmare as we ended up on the wrong side of the Interstate near the airport and had to backtrack a long ways just to find the motel. Lack... More

Overall a good value for a clean room. The location is just off the freeway and also close to a major road. The noise didn't seem bad though. The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable for only 45 bucks. A Denny's and Waffle House are within walking distance and I was able to pick up free WiFi... More

Pluses for this hotel - great motel 6 rate and good location close to airport. However if you do need to get a good sleep, AVOID this place at all cost. Its not worth to save a few bucks here and have highway noise right next to you and poor insulation (can hear folks upstairs walking). Perhaps another Motel6 location... More
