My fiancé and I brought our two miniature shnauzers for a 2 night getaway Memorial Day weekend. Before I begin the review, lets make this clear that this place is NOT a bed and breakfast, as it is advertised on the website and everywhere else. No one is going to cook for you in the morning or be bothering you... More

February on the north coast of Washington is not exactly tourist season. For the two of us, we planned to stay one night, and ended up staying for four. Having the entire facility to ourselves helped with that decision. La Place was also central to our points of interest, and coming "home" to a warm fire and chilled oysters was... More

My husband and I are very selective about where we stay when we travel to the mainland. Being here felt like being home on the island. Our room had a spectacular view and we could hear the ocean outside - pure tranquility. The house has a fabulous deck with a firepit so we could see the stars at night and... More

Traveled out of state and did tons of research of where to stay. LOVED THIS PLACE!!! Felt very relaxed & secluded. We felt like we were on our second honeymoon. Didn't mind the fact that no breakfast is served (I like to order my own food anyway), found great places to eat close by. Lovely home, great area, didn't want... More

This is a spacious home on the beach that has lots of amenities. The main floor has 4 separate bedrooms and well-stocked kitchen (pots/pans/spices). Great grill. Sauna is wonderful. Hot tub is okay - the pool side is cold and doesn't have the lap feature as motor is broken. Lots of burned out lightbulbs - it just takes a lot... More

A nice view, no heat in April with snow on the surrounding hills and no breakfast. At $129 a night you are invited to cook for yourself as long as you do your own dishes. We enjoyed the view and the sound of the ocean but will stay elsewhere on future trips to the area. More

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast. We have stayed at many over the years and found this one to be inferior to the others that we stayed at. The setting is certainly beautiful but it lacks refinement and TRIES unsuccessfully to be first class . The owners seem to be money hungry people and did not... More

the house has 100's of books, many, many videos, private hot tub, luxurious linens, pots to cook for an enormous group, & a heated towel rack!! An indoor jacuzzi tub is in the process of being installed. The ocean is across the road; a ten minute walk away is a favourite surfing spot. The house is located about 8 miles from Port... More

Me and 2 friends traveled a Twilight Tour, visiting all of the cities in WA that are listed in the Twilight book. Our trip ended with staying in Port Angeles; the pictures and descriptions on the website are what captured my attention.. But when we arrived, the pictures were only a hint of what to expect. From the moment we... More

Lyndee, the owner, is very gracious and welcoming. The place had the feel of a lovely home, and is definitely set up to enjoy the great view of the Strait, as well as the Canadian shore line. We loved looking out the windows, or sitting on the spacious deck, or enjoying the view from the hot tub. It is close... More
