We stayed in one of the "Ten Cottages" owned by the Terrace Motel, located behind the motel. The cottages feature a bright, new interior, very comfortable bed, table and chairs, kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and fully stocked with dishes, kettle, cutlery, pots, etc. It was private and cozy and very quiet. We were met by a very friendly gent, and shown to a basic but comfortable two brm unit that had everything we needed. Very warm and secure, and close to everything, including a pub right next door!! We were able to park right outside our unit, which was nice. Heaps of cafes, bars and restaurants close by, plus booking offices... More

A perfectly fine motel but is overpriced at $180 for a room by about 50%. We stayed because we had a leaky campervan and they were the only place we could find with a mostly covered parking space. The staff were friendly, and the location is fine so it would be a decent option if cheaper. More

This was an average motel with above average prices. Make sure if you are staying here that you check what facilities your room has as we made the error of assuming our room had cooking facilities which it didn't. More

A warm welcome and some helpful tips from the owner on arrival was a hopeful sign but who for some reason then mentioned a recent guest had described their room as dated which she thought was harsh. The staff could not be more helpful. Great facilities if you are travelling in camper van (power point,laundry,wi fi ,water,gas etc)Walking distance to pick up guided tour on glacier and for pubs/restaurants. Cost for us approx 2person $35 More

The rooms are large, clean and well equipped, the beds comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The decor and fittings are a bit dated but are really well maintained. Location is excellent. More

Clean accommodation with basic kitchen facilities, good room service. However, paper thin walls so not for light sleepers. Also a very cold room, was raining during our stay so needed to have the heater on constantly. Very overpriced for what you get, are paying for the location. Parking outside unit, walking distance to everything. Friendly hosts. More
