Small family run motel in Fox Glacier, about 500m off the main highway so no traffic noise. Extremely clean and comfortable, just your cute Kiwi motel - would highly recommend in Fox Glacier.

we stayed for one night on our trip to Fox Glacier, and although we arrived long before checking in time were given the key to our very comfortable room and information about the township. We were pleasantly surprised with the amenities of the room, nice kitchenette, microwave, fridge etc and we were sorry to be there for only one night....

This motel had everything we looked for. Though we only stayed one night, we could easily have stayed longer. The staff were very friendly, and our unit was clean, bright and comfortable. Only the shower was a bit low for tall guests - like us!

Hi there - great you had a good stay with us!
Apologies about the shower height. Those fixed wall shower heads aren't ideal for you tall folk!
Thank you for taking the time to give us your comments, and I hope enjoyed your NZ explorations :)

We spent 2 nights here while we explored the Fox Glacier area. Our room was small, but clean. We appreciated the covered car park and room entrance as it rained throughout most of our stay. We also took advantage of the guest laundry, and were glad they had 2 washers and 2 dryers so we could complete all our laundry...

The motel is quite basic, however Fox glacier has few options available and this motel is one of the better ones. We had booked studio unit. Room was clean, there was a TV (only free channels). Kitchen is adequately furnished with a microwave, burner and a fridge. No heater in bathrooom (sorely missed). Complimentary milk pouch was provided. Car park...

Thank you for your feedback - we appreciate you taking the time! I just want to clarify your comment about the helihike.
Firstly if you have the fitness and the funds, then no-one would argue that a heli hike is the ultimate way to see Fox Glacier. This is because you get to fly over it, land on it and...

We booked the king studio - A nice spacious room with a couch, breakfast table, kitchenette & bathroom. It is very handy to the restaurants. The owners are helpful also.

Stayed in a studio with a spa bath which was nice before bed. Bed not overly comfortable but on a whole the studio unit was a good place to base yourself for a quiet nights sleep whilst exploring the area. Friendly and efficient reception. Some older stains on inside of bed spread which wasn't great but we were too tired...

First off, we are very grateful to Myra for assisting us with the delivery of an important parcel from Queenstown (we had left an important belonging at AJ Hacketts) to our next destination, Christchurch. The package arrived on Christmas Eve, just in time towards the end of our NZ adventure. Now the review, the motel is very well located, just...

We stayed there for only one night. The room is comfortable and clean. The attendant at the front desk gave us straight away a map and information about where to go around Fox Glacier: photograph spots, restaurants, roads, distances etc.

In our trip, this was the only one with full booking when arrived. Luckily that we have booked in advance. Our studio was spacious with two bedrooms. Sofa was nice also. As this is just located two mins walk from the town centre where you can book for helicopter, heli hike, skydive in Fox Glacier easily. Really convenient enough. I...
