We spent one night there on our honeymoon. The place is very nice and welcoming, staff as well. The room is very nice indeed, with the spa bathtube. The only thing I disliked was the wifi internet connection. Infact it is very limited, even though free. More

The lady owner was really, really helpful to us. Chalet was large, clean.full of teats and goodies. All ingredients for a lovely breakfast provided for us in our room to have at our leisure. Huge bath. She recommended good restaurant in town and was generally really helpful. More

Visited Fox Glacier end of May with group of 8, we were looking for affordable stay, but later decided to pay extra for a better night sleep. We do not regret doing so, because it was the most beautiful room we had for our entire trip in NZ. We booked total of 4 rooms, and each of the are uniquely... More

This has to be the #1 accommodation out of the 9 we've stayed during our 2 weeks road trip! We stayed in 2 lodges next to each other. Rooms came with kitchenette, jaccuzzi bath and stairs up to 1 queen and 1 single bed room. Room was very clean and spacious and we cooked ourselves a sumptious dinner to end... More

Good sized room, comfortable bed and good linens. Large jacuzzi tub and separate shower in the bath. Self serve Continental breakfast featuring freshly baked bread and muffins, cereal and juice. Not much of a view from our first floor room, but only a short walk around the corner into town. Laundry facility on property. Host Deborah was helpful and informative. More

Stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely recommend it - on arrival we met Deborah who gave us some freshly baked cake and gave us some advice on best things to do in the area. The room was a good size, clean and warm and the self-serve continental breakfast included some lovely home-made bread. Good location although nothing is... More

This is a good place to stay in so much as it is clean, comfortable and not too expensive and it had a decent(ish) continental self serve breakfast. We went with very high expectations going off the back of the reviews on here and these were dampened slightly by the lukewarm reception of the owner and just about everyone else... More
