I would definitely recommend Cathedral Court, which was the first place we stayed in New Zealand (three nights). Jill and Graeme Noakes were very welcoming. Jill makes excellent breakfasts served between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m., among the best breakfasts we had during our three weeks in NZ!
