We stayed at Paperbark Camp on an unseasonably wet and cold October weekend - far from ideal conditions for any type of camping - but it didn't matter as Paperbark was still terrific even in the rain. It's right in the middle of a magical paperbark forest. We had a standard tent which was roomy, comfy and had absolutely everything... more

We're just back from two nights at Paperbark Camp and would have to be VERY nit-picky to find any faults from booking to check out. I booked online and opted for a package which included dinner both nights at the Gunyah restaurant as other decent dining options in the area seem to be very sparse. Booking and subsequent email confirmation... more

I stayed at Paperbark Camp with a friend in November 2006. I have been meaning to write this review for some time. We had a wonderful time here. The tents were gorgeous, and we spend our time relaxing on our balcony, canoeing in the river and eating at the restautant (excellent food and a great atmosphere). We did feel a... more

We went to the Paperbark Camp seeking nature, solitude, and a truly unique experience. It more than delivered! We arrived late in the afternoon but had plenty of time to wander up to the bar and grab a beer before doing a bit of fishing and canoeing (they have bikes and canoes for guests to use) from their river pier.... more

We spent a Friday and Saturday night at Paperbark Camp. I didn't find it quite as fantastic as a lot of other people did athough, overall, it was an enjoyable experience. We were in the Original style tent and it was comfortable enough. The tents were slightly too close for comfort for me (approximately 10metres apart) . When in the... more

I heard about PBC through a friend and we decided to spend the Friday night there, in search of a different experience. The most important thing to note is to print out the travel directions listed on the website. Do not solely rely on your GPS, ours took us to a dead-end road (it failed to realise that the road... more

Paperbark Camp was 2 nights of Eco luxury during a 3 week trip around Oz. The setting is excellent, accomodation was wonderful, staff extremely friendly and helpful, Gunyah Restaurant served sublime food and the wine list was quite reasonable. A kayak down the river to the Husky Pub is a must, and easy enough for those of limited kayaking experience.... more

This was our first visit to Australia from the US. We stayed at the Paperbark Camp in April for 3 nights and it rained considerably. Everything stayed dry in the tents but the bedding always felt damp. The beds were comfortable and the tent contained conveniences you would need such as bug spray and candles. Minimal towels. Nice covered porch... more

My wife and I stayed here in November 2003, as part of our Australian trip of a lifetime. The tents are fabulous, luxury hotel rooms surrounded by canvas. The staff was very nice and accomodating. We hiked the nature trail, and while we were daunted by the vast number of aggressive mosquitoes, the complimentary bottle of "Mozzie F.O." worked incredibly... more

We went here for my husbands birthday over a weekend. It is nicely set "tents" surrounded by bush. You wouldn't know that there is more than your tent. Breakfast and dinner are included in the rate and both are scrumptous. if your lucky the local flying possums will come and check you out over dinner. The town of Huskison is... more
