This hotel was great - good location with direct access to a great beach. The rooms were nice - not overly luxurious but clean and good size. Our unit, #807, was on the top floor and had good views of the beach and ocean. We traveled in April and spent each morning watching the whales from our balcony with coffee.... More

Just returned home from a stay at the Polo Club, unit #502. We had a completely enjoyable visit in every aspect. The unit was extremely spacious and well kept, the patio over looked the reef at the south end of the beach and the pool, we saw whales, full moon setting over the waves, etc. The property was very well... What's great about Polo Beach Club is not only the magnificent ocean views but the fact that you are so close you can HEAR the surf! It sounds like you truly enjoyed and appreciated this extraordinary beachfront resort. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience on TripAdvisor. My wish list for our family vacation had two things at the top - a lanai where we could enjoy sunsets and whale watching and a location where I could walk out the door and be snorkeling in moments. Unit 505 at Polo Beach met both of those perfectly. We walked along the coastal path that goes by the Fairmont,... More

Aloha Oregonwren, You’re so right! You can’t find another room closer to the beach in Wailea than at Polo Beach Club! Thank you for calling attention to the kitchen utensils. Our Rental Manager is replacing the knives and adding a griddle per your suggestions. And, you’ll be happy to know that a new ceiling fan with a light has already... More

Our seventh visit to PBC did not disappoint. Too early for Humpbacks this time, but many Honus (Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles) right off the beach. Speaking of beach, is there any softer, powdery white sand than in Wailea? Plus you can get much closer to the surf than at PBC unless you want to get wet! We booked directly through... More

Thanks for posting your review of Polo Beach Club. You're right....you just can't get a suite any closer to the beautiful white sand beach than Polo Beach Club where you get a spectacular view and can hear the sounds of the surf! We were in rooms 103 and 104. The rooms are ok but for sure are no better than a suite at an old motor hotel like a Best Western or the like. The air conditioner in 104 did.not work and was not fixed for over 12 hours. There were no trash cans in 103. The beach is beautiful but way... More

We were so sorry to hear that you had not been informed that the Polo Beach Club is a completely non-smoking property. Because you had made your reservations through a private owner, we are unable to comment on the communication that you received. The non-smoking policy is set by the Homeowners Association for the entire property and not by any... More

My wife and kids (8, 11) stayed in Unit #407 for 5 nights. The 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit was just like the photos. The unit was beautiful and the location was great. On check-in, however, our room was not clean (trash under bed, kitchen floor sticky) which was a bit disturbing. The conscierge wasn't overly helpful the one time... More

Thank your for taking the time to share your experience at the Polo Beach Club. We were sorry to hear of the service issues you had and will share it with the staff to improve our level of service. With a prime beachfront location on its own excluded beach, the Polo Beach Club can be considered costly. We have 6... More

We stayed in unit 109 with my in- laws & my 5 year old son. We took my Mother-in-Law for her 80th birthday because she has always dreamed of visiting Hawaii. I agree with the other review of this unit. The laundry door is not working properly & the master bathtub/shower is not easily or safely accessible. The secondary bathroom... More

Stayed at Polo Beach Cub, condo #508. Booked thru VBRO and dealt with the owner - she was very friendly, quick to reply and sent us alot of tourist info. As everyone has already described, the beach location is suberb - there were only a few people - mostly those staying at the PBC; the people staying at the adjacent... More

We stayed in condo#109. It is set toward the front of the building on the ground floor and is farthiest from the beach on this level. However, it is still very close to a beautiful semi-private beach. Here are the pros and cons we found from this condo: Pros: -Great location, close to beach and pool. -Owner very easy to... More
