Hotel came highly recommended, but fell well short of expectations. Found left behind dirty clothing from previous tenant to start with and took the item to the front desk who were less than attentive. If something this large can get missed in plain sight, just how clean is the room? For a hotel only 8 yrs or so old, it... More

We were looking for a quaint, small inn or B & B with a view of the Mississippi river for an overnight stop in Natchez. We first tried to get rooms at the little bar & inn under the hill, but they were already booked. Since it was getting late, and we didn't have reservations anywhere, we decided to play... More

We didn't reserve ahead so we could be free to drive as far as we wanted in a day. We popped in to the front desk and received a warm welcome and good rates for rooms (we needed 3 rooms) overlooking the Mississippi. This was an A1 hotel in a small place: beautiful, clean, welcoming.

The Natchez Grand Hotel is perfectly located on the Mississippi river waterfront, high on a bluff overlooking the river. The view is impressive. The hotel itself is very elegant and is reminiscent of old-time hotel architecture. The rooms are very spacious and the buffet breakfast is very good with an excellent selection. The hotel is within walking distance of the... More

Nice looking purpose built hotel with a good view over the river, but there is nothing to draw you to this place. The town has a few bars (most with smoking allowed) and a couple of restaurants, most of the shops are closed down. The hotel has a tiny pool, you could only sit in it. The reception staff always... I booked our king room with river view online through the hotel's website. The staff had no problem checking us in one hour early. They offered us a choice of floors. We chose the top floor which has the best River view. We were even given a room at the end of the hotel with a corner view. The room... More

Friendly front desk service, neat and comfy room with a great view of the Mississippi, excellent parking, short walk to fine barbecue. But despite so much to recommend it - we would happily stay here again - the most memorable element was the bill. We noticed a couple of odd charges on top of the quoted room rate. When we... More

This hotel has an impressive view of the Mississippi River and easy walking distance to downtown Natchez. The room and staff were excellent. The breakfast however was very poor. Very little choice of breakfast items had better in the Holiday Inn express. Plenty of car parking and the small bar served some great cocktails but does not stay open very... More

We just returned from staying here. I traveled with my mom and children, ages 7 and 10. Hotel was nice. The room was clean overall, just dusty in the corners. We did not watch TV too much but it worked and had lots of options for channels. This hotel does not offer room service or have a restaurant. Breakfast is... More
