We were in Natchez with a good sized group for a golf outing. Overall, the hotel was good- very nice public areas and the rooms were nice. Having stayed in some really GRAND places, I'm not sure I would name it such, however. We didn't have any problems, but a few couples in the group had a few problems with... More

This hotel is right across from the Convention Center and the Mississippi River. Stayed here for a conference. Nice stay. The hotel is quite old and has definitely been renovated. The rooms are a decent size. The restaurants nearby are awesome. There's a barbecue place as well a big momma's tamales and a nice pasta joint, all in walking distance. More

Like other "Grand" hotels, this one was fancy but not as good with all the little details as chain hotels that are less expensive. But if the great location and view of the river are worth it to you--and they were for us--this is the place. We strolled along the river bluff before walking to a great dinner and went... More

I think they set themselves up for high standard expectations by including ''Grand '' in the name. Maybe they should have just named it ''BIG'' in a good location. The place seemed really worn out.....the floors are not put down well, the pool is tiny, our room had some lights burned out...Just a lot of small things. It is in a perfect location,has... More

The Natchez Grand Hotel is evidently a Country Inn Suites now..something we did not know until the wake up call came on the first morning....but Country Inn must have purchased this old, grand hotel..and it was well apppointed. The bar in the lobby was a great gathering place. The parking lot was very secure and bordered by brick and iron... More

The writer spent two nights at the NG and was disappointed. When one thinks of a grand hotel one expects older time tested amenities. There is no doorman, grand lobby or elegant decor or furnishings. This could be a chain hotel instead of the expected grandeur the name would imply. Check-in was simple and parking was plentiful and without cost.... More

The Grand has an excellent location with a great view of the river and the river walk. My only problem is that there was no cold water in the room. The shower was way too hot. They did offer to change the room but it turns out that this is a problem many times. More

We stayed at the Natchez Grand for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our two double bed room overlooked the Mississippi and was clean and quiet with plenty of room. Breakfast was complimentary and included a wide variety of foods, enough to keep us full til a very late lunch. Evening brought complimentary wine off the lobby. We were in... More
