This has been at least our sixth trip to Natchez & Riverisde. We do not even look at any oher place to book a room/or B&B. Each time since we visit, we feel we are visiting a friend. Mr. Durrell Epperson welcomes you at the door, invites you to sit down on the porch and watch the sunset with a... More

The approach to the house is attractively planted. In front is a lovely brick patio with 2 fountains, perched over a cliff, with a breath-taking view of the Mississippi. The house is a jewel, painstakingly restored and furnished with period pieces by host Durell. (The accomodations are also very comfortable). The host is gracious, delightful -- full of humorous and... More

A truly wonderful place. Beautiful home, gorgeous antiques, tremendous view, oustanding food, and the absolute best host ever. Durrell Epperson is so accomodating. He can entertain for hours with his wonderful stories. He makes you feel like you have know him forever. The wine is ever flowing. It is more like you are staying with a friend than at a... More

This was a first trip for me without my husband - my girlfriends came with me to help get over the lose of him. I love the old south and Riverside B & B helped me to reenact what it must have been like. The house is fantastic with its furnishings and service. It's Durell that makes the stay so... More

This was with no doubt the best place to stay in Natchez, the breakfast was just outstanding and elegantly performed by one of the best host we could have every found! A beautiful home and decorated with fantastic appeal for the southern charm. The view was the best you could find for being right on the river! More

My second stay here, my friends' first. They were enchanted with the breathtaking view and the magnificent furnishings and antiques. Riverside truly has a positive energy that renews the spirit and relaxes the mind. Durrell is a most gracious and knowledgeable host. Especially the "Eternal Spring" at sunset on the balcony was just what the doctor prescribed for stress and... More

Natchez is a town with many B&Bs and lovely places to stay of which I have stayed at many through the years. However, the Riverside B&B is in a class by itself both in Natchez or elsewhere. Do not be put off by the fact that you only can pay by cash or check and there is no website. I... More

This goes way beyond a 5 star rating!! A perfect destination. We had the "Princess" room, a large 4 poster bed with original lace drapes, used by a Spanish princess, simply beautiful. It definitely has the wow factor. The views over the Mississippi from the verandah were breathtaking, and don't miss a sunset!! However what made it so special was... More

I first stayed at Riverside about 1997, I found it one day exploring the back streets of Natchez along the bluff. I had never seen it advertised anywhere and just happened across it. I saw a small sign on the back entrance that said Riverside B&B and being the adverturous person I am went went up and knocked on the... More
