Just stayed 4 nights in this hotel. It is conveniently located to Mt. Rushmore, and provides easy access to Rapid City and Hill City. The hotel was clean - no problems with housekeeping. We did not use the indoor pool or hot tub, but they seemed nice and very popular. The free continental breakfast included eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy,... More

We purchased two nights here from Groupon because my wife wanted to visit Mount Rushmore. It was on her bucket list. The hotel is nice, the day front desk manager was incredibly helpful. The coffee is good on the continental breakfast. As others have said it is clean, comfortable and quiet. My only suggestion is that they upgrade the pillows. More

We purchased a two night stay here from Groupon, and it was such a welcome relief after staying in a bad hotel the night before. It was right in the Black Hills, and when we arrived it had just rained, so there was a huge rainbow right outside our window. The entire hotel was very clean (it just opened for... More

This is my second stay at this hotel. It seems that there has been a change of ownership since the last time I was here. The previous stay was a great experience and this one was as well. Easy check-in and check-out. The room was clean and quiet. I did not have a chance to check out the pool or... More

We booked in for 2 nights Oct 1 and 2. Very nice hotel. Great lobby; well decorated; lots of wood-which suited the area of the hotel. Our room was very nice-good amenities; VERY comfortable beds; nice bathroom; good hot breakfast which was included in our room rate; coffee available at the front 24 hours as well as a computer available... We stayed here for three nights visiting many of the attractions in the area. The hotel was one of the most friendliest hotels we have stayed in, the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very clean and most comfortable, breakfast was a do it yourself free style and was a treat as we did not expect this. We really... More

This is the perfect place to stay when visiting Mt. Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the Badlands. I found it to be a 5-star quality hotel with upgraded bedding and amenities. The rooms are very large. The included buffet breakfast is really good (thank Laura for that!) and the indoor pool and hot tub is the perfect way to end... More

Ok, so this is a straight up, no frills Best Western Hotel- clean and neat. A bit too much I think to call it a lodge except for some honest attempt in the lobby. Staff are friendly however no bellboys here. You carry your own luggage to your rooms pretty much. Outdated gym, pool and spa. Rooms are spacious and... More

Travel Background: over 100 nights in hotels a year, domestic and international. Good hotel, decent location, a little out of town, but not bad. Traveling with 11 people, booked 3 rooms, all were clean. More

Let me start by saying that I usually do not stay in "Best Westerns" or "Holiday Inns". I was very pleasantly surprised by how updated and clean this hotel was. I did not care for the breakfast as I felt the choices were limited but most other guest seemed to enjoy it. The dining room was very clean and pleasant... More
