Witht the name Deep Forest Cabins you expect to be deep in the forest not right on the road. There was a lot of traffic noise including logging trucks. The cabin was nice with many extras. Need a new mattress though. Very uncomforable and sagging in the middle. Onlu 1/2 mile to the entrance of Mt. Rainier National Park! more

We were traveling through the Pacific Northwest and used Deep Forest Cabins, specifically Mountain Home. It was carefully maintained, clean and was well appointed in terms of bathroom and kitchen equipment. We used the hotub and had a relaxing meal. It was perfect night after a long hot day hiking in the park, which brings me to the location, about... more

I can't say enough about the Mountain Home. When traveling to new locations, one is always hesitant about staying in unknown facilities. However, you can rest assured this is a true gem. Located four-tenths of a mile from Mt. Rainier NP, it's in the woods surrounded by huge trees and ferns. It is situated such that the few cabins nearby... more

My wife and I spent a 4-night stay in the Barn Owl late Sep 2008. We really enjoyed the opportunity to get away from it all. We are not tubbers, but we did use the outdoor grill almost every night. Pat was very helpful in making sure that we were all set for our first night's stay; he got us... more

My husband and I spent two nights in the Barn Owl Cottage at Deep Forest Cabins. We agreed it is one of the most tranquil places we have ever stayed. The cottage lived up to it's description and photos. The cottage was warm, cozy, clean and had all the amenities you could need. We especially loved the private hot tub,... more

We had the opportunity to stay overnight in one of the three cabins that the owners have available. Each cabin is unique and all are located on a short dirt road off the main road. We stayed in the Maplewild Cabin which is, as the owners say is "romantic and very private." Each cabin has a kitchen which is good... more

We were traveling to the area from the east coast and I had read everyone's reviews. Of course, you never know for sure until you arrive and experience it yourself! The day we arrived, the 5 of us had traveled all day in a packed SUV in the pouring rain! Not exactly the way to start a 2 week vacation!... more

My husband and I have been staying at the Deep Forest Cabins for 3 years. We have stayed in Mt Home, Maplewild, and the Cedar Grove Cabin many times each. If you are looking for tranquility, romance, and beauty, you will not be disappointed! You can really tell that these cabins are a "labor of love" and not just a... more

We stayed here for three nights in late September and wish we could have stayed longer. There is a sense of being wrapped in coziness the minute you step into the cabins here. We stayed in the Cedar Grove cabin. The glass wall was ideal for looking out at all the trees. And the hot tub! What can be said.... more

We stayed 2 nights at the Deep Forest Cabins which are just outside Mt. Rainier National Park. We stayed at the Mountain Home. It was immaculate and very well maintained. It has a hot tub, patio deck, gas fireplace, spiral staircase leading to a loft with a queen bed and a master bedroom. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we never... more
