This was a very nice & reasonable place to stay right outside of Mt. Rainer National Park as we continued our Motorcycle trips around North America. The Owners & staff were very helpful in providing us with all the information we needed on Mt. Rainier & the surrounding area. There were several good places to eat within a short distance... More

My husband and I were in the area to climb Mt Rainier with three other friends. I decided not to climb and needed a place to stay for one night- did not want to stay in the campground by myself. Since we were late in the season, the hotel was not full, so getting a room on short notice was... More

We were a family of 4 adults spending the weekend exploring Mt. Rainier. The room was adequate for sleeping, the continental breakfast was convenient, the shower pressure was great. What impressed us was the Wildberry Restaurant just down the street heading into the park. We ate dinner there after hiking the famous Skyline Trail at Paradise. The red-skin potatoe soup... More

My wife and I planned a Portland-Seattle-Vancouver trip and decided to stop at Mt. Rainier for a night between Portland and Seattle. We really enjoyed the Nisqually Lodge, as the rooms were very spacious and the lodge hostess/owner was friendly and helpful. She gave a great suggestion to eat at the Wild Berry restaurant, which was also great. The room... More

The Nisqually lodge met our needs for a one night stay. The location is great being so close to Mount Rainier NP. The breakfast buffet was certainly enough food for our family. The rooms were a bit dated on the dacor, but everything was clean and well maintained. The rooms are certainly larger than most chain hotel current offerings. We... More

This is a great location, friendly people. We booked via phone and requested a email confirmation which came promptly with nice directions on driving. We were coming in late and they were kind enough to leave the keys for us to pick up. The rooms were clean and spacious. Really enjoyed it and highly recommend. More

Snuggled near the base of Mount Rainier is the charming little lodge. Small but cozy; quaint and run by a charming older couple we enjoyed this overnight stay. If you were hiking in the area, this would make a great base camp. The bed was comfortable and the room warm with the cool mountain air. The lobby is the central... More

Rooms were spacious. Quiet. No elevator. No fridge or microwave in rooms - common fridge in hall and microwave in breakfast area. Breakfast wasn't anything special. No major complaints! We planned on dinners in the park over campfire or camp stove and I'm glad we did. Limited dining options. More

Stayed here for 2 nights in late July. Ashford is the closest town to the west gate of Mt Rainier, which is about all it can claim. Most of the other accomodations were much more expensive since they cater to familities in cabins. Price little high but in line with peak of the season rates, town was fully booked on... More

This hotel seemed the best of the bunch around there for the value when I was looking for a place to stay one night near Mt Rainier, outside the park. I was alone, didn't need a whole cabin like some places around there have (for lots higher rates). Room was very large, large TV that worked fine, good bathroom. The... More
