We've just had a week staying in Fallow cottage on Pollaughan Farm. We went to get away from the hectic life of London and let our 20 month old daughter explore while we relaxed - it was the perfect place. Despite constant wind and rain we had the most fabulous week and there was plenty to do around the farm, including the morning ritual of feeding the animals, followed by jumping on the giant trampoline in a field full of sheep! The wood burning stove and collection of toys kept us all happy and cosy indoors. And the cottage pie brought to the door in the evening was a really wonderful and homely treat. The surrounding coastline is beautiful and unspoilt with plenty of rock pools and the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Fowey. Polperro are a few of the places worth visiting nearby.
We would thoroughly recommend staying here and have absolutely no complaints - and it's not often you can say that.

You live in the middle of the Farm (complete with chickens, ducks, goats, sheep, pigs, donkeys and a shetland pony!) and your children will be gathered up every morning to wake up all the animals, collect eggs and generally enjoy everything a farm has to offer with 'Farmer Tim'. They can then go off exploring as much as they like throughout their stay. To make things even better Valerie is a fabulous cook, and she whistles up Aga-prepared...
