I stayed at the Hyatt Morristown on business for a week in November 2009. One morning, I ordered room service for breakfast. They told me it would arrive in 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, they called to apologize and said it would be another 20 minutues. Their kitchen apparently got slammed with orders all at the same time. This was... more

My family and I came to Morristown for the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the downtown and all it has to offer. We were pleasantly surprised with how modern and trendy the hotel is! From the moment we checked in, the staff was warm and welcoming. Our guest rooms were newly renovated with plenty of space for my two young children.... more

I have looked at most of the hotels in Morristown area. By far Hyatt Morristown is the best. The Presentation, the service, and the rooms are great. Newly renovated hotel makes this a hot spot for me. Rooms have a large desk in the room and have large walking space in the room. I love my space. Restaurant has great... more

This property is less a Hyatt quality property and more closely a nice Holiday Inn or maybe a Crown Plaza. Yes, I know the rooms are being renovated, but this property needs to focus on several areas. Reguest a renovated room on the top floors if you can. The brown tones are reminiscent of The Hotel (at the Mandalay) in... more

Thank you for your tremendous feedback on our newly renovated product. You have provided some great suggestions that we will look at incorporating in future upgrades. I am very sorry that we failed to provide you the turndown service you requested and for the noise issues you experienced. We thank you for bringing these challenges to our attention and we...

Hotel is under renovation, however should have been 5 years ago. If you are in an old room they are horrible. Torn wallpaper, missing tile, and VERY outdated. This is a Hyatt and looks like a motel 6. If you want to sleep past 7:30 forget it. This is when jackhammering begins in they rooms they are beginning to update.... more

We are very sorry your stay was disturbed by noise. We have a very strict policy with our renovation project that no construction that may generate noise is allowed prior to 10:00AM or after 5PM. We are more than 50% complete with our $7 million room renovation and as of November 1, 2009 we will no longer have any unrenovated...

We arrived around 7 p.m. on Friday night and parked in the parking garage adjacent to the hotel. The hotel will validate your ticket. The front desk person was very friendly. We originally booked a non-smoking room with double beds. Upon arrival, the front desk employee asked us if we would rather have a king-sized bed, to which we agreed.... more

This Hyatt was pretty nice. The rooms were recently renovated and everything was very comfortable. There's also a movie theater attached to the hotel which is a really great PLUS! more

The hotel was decent, in a central location with good amenities (gym, etc.). Unfortunately the hotel guests in the neighboring rooms were loud and inconsiderate - they slammed the doors all night long with little regard for other guests. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom was seriously dated - and seemed like the bathroom of a hotel built in... more

Great hotel in NJ that has so many amenities to enjoy. A movie theatre, huge gym with pool and hot tub, and great restaurant and bar. Plus, the parking was free! This Hyatt is such a great value and the best in Northern NJ as I have stayed at 40 different hotels in this region for work over the past... more

All the signs say Hyatt but it just does not seem that way. The rooms have been renovated but our room was of poor quality. A window that could not be fully closed and locked, bathroom sink that splashed water everywhere, no bathroom matt first day etc .. Inconsistent service that is not expected of the Hyatt name. more

Guinness333, We appreciate your feedback. Based on your comments though, it does not sound like you may have stayed in one of our new rooms. The renovation process is continuing floor by floor and will be completed within the year, which means we have some rooms that are completed and some that are yet to be turned to the new...
