Had a lovely Saturday night stay, warm welcome, gorgeous room perfect for a family with delightful views over the lovely grounds, delicious dinner - better than most pretentious high priced restaurants. Girls loved swimming pool and games room. Our travelling companion also thoroughtly enjoyed her stay. The whole ambience of the place is lovely, such a beautiful house. We'll stay... More

The Grove normally B & B and self catering has started offering lunches and evening meals in the main house. The dining room is comfortable warm and was refurbished recently to a high standard. We tried both lunch & evening meals ...both superb. The menu was varied and interesting, reasonably priced and cooked to order. Gary (front of house) charming... More

If they ever needed a new location Faulty Towers this would fit the bill. The drive is full of potholes, the entrance hall had broken flag stones and needed to be cleaned. The receptionist could have done with a bath and the breakfast waitress had tattoos all over her neck. The breakfast took almost an hour to serve and was... More

Stayed for just one night. Had a family room which was fine although very cold when we first arrived. Shower was a bit weak which is always disappointing. Swimming pool was an added attraction but a bit small for a decent swim. Lovely house with beautiful gardens. The breakfast was very average, no menus provided and very inexperienced staff serving.... More

We stayed for 1 week and found this an ideal base for exploring a very interesting area with lots of beautiful scenery and interesting things to explore whatever the weather. Set in generous grounds, close to the sea but away from the bustle of the town, The Grove is in a peaceful location. The house itself is elegant with many... More

We stayed in the stable with two small children. The stable was comfortable and pleasant - good value for money. The pool was great - warm and open long hours. Lovely walk to the beach through the forest - not too long so our children could manage it. The owners are friendly and helpful. We will be going back. More

Great location, we had rooms 11 and 12 both giving us comfort and quietness, our Son had the single room and he loved it, the evening food was outstanding and excellent value, breakfast was very good aswell, great walks within easy reach both along the coast and towards Cromer itself, the house is old and done up tastefully, the owners... Spent a very pleasant night at the Grove hotel staying in Room 11 however my over riding feeling is that this is a B&B with delusions of grandeur. The room itself was perfectly nice but I have to say that the hotel and room decor is a little old fashioned looking. Although there is nothing "wrong" with it, the bedroom... More

Just back from a 3 nights stay in the Grove and we enjoyed it very much. Our room was nice and light with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was also very nice and cleaned to the highest standards. Our bed was made and our bathroom cleaned every day! Breakfast was very good, fairly typical English cooked breakfast, cereals, fruits...etc.... More

We stayed in the one bedroom cottage in late Feb 2012. It was in need of a good clean. The Guest House was in the middle of refurbishment so it, the pool and wi-fi were all unavailable for use. We wouldn't have minded it we'd been informed beforehand but we weren't. The staff made no mention of anything either and... More

We're very sorry that you didn't feel our service met your expectations, in particular that the cottage wasn't cleaned to our normal standards. The guest house is, as always, closed over the winter months to allow us to upgrade it - at the time of your stay we were refurbishing the dining room and hallways - and it will open... More
