We have just spent 2 nights at Hotel de Paris, although at times it felt as if we were booked into a retirement home for the weekend (my husband and I are both in our mid 30s!) * Location - wonderful, directly opposite the pier. * Building itself is beautiful with many grand and ornate features. Feels somewhat dated, it... More

Our third stay at the Hotel de Paris - that mast say something. Each time we stay here we notice little improvements which add to our enjoyment. Our room was spacious and interesting with its little semi-octagonal alcove. The bathroom was good (although no shower in this particular room). Everywhere was immaculately clean and kept up to the mark by... More

My brother booked a room for a night prior to a week's sailing holiday and our stay at the hotel provided an excellent start to the break. Before arriving I had looked at Trip Advisor reviews and the impressions I had formed from them, and my resulting high expectations, were fully realised. What the reviews describe is what you get... Although perhaps a little past its glory days the hotel is clean, welcoming and warm. It is situated right on the front opposite the pier and within very easy reach of shops, buses etc. Rooms comfortable and plenty of room. Staff are very friendly and helpful, restaurant service quick and efficient. The food is well cooked and presented and waiting... More

From start to finnish we enjoyed are stay, everywhere was clean, food brilliant, staff very friendly but not in your face. Worth paying extra for sea view, we had room 21 on the first floor, very large twin room directley overlooking the pier, beds a bit lumpy, plenty of tea coffee and milk. the power shower was amazing plenty of... You can easily imagine that you are a wartime courting couple when you visit this place which doesn't seem to have changed much in decades, save that there are en-suite bathrooms and you can get wifi in reception. This hotel has a degree of elegance about it, albeit very dated, with revolving entrance doors, high ceilings, sweeping stairs and stained... More

Still as friendly as ever, super clean enough for our 2 year old to crawl around without worrying & still a little tired in places, more an olde worldy patena which as many others have written, add something timeless to the stay, we would hate it if it changed anything. Don't expect 'boutique chic', I've been there and would rather... More

My friend came over from New Zealand, after living there fore 15 years and had decided years ago she wanted to stay at this hotel, when she lived locally in Swaffham. I live myself only 52 miles from Cromer. So, we booked a twin room with a sea and pier view for a weekend. I could only stay the one... More
