Had 2 lovely meals in Los Laurales in March just before easter week. The menu del dia was excellent at 12 euros for 3 courses all of which were faultless. We returned again for 3 course sunday lunch at 14 euros which again was great. Nice spot just a little out of the way but will definitely return on our... More

Just returned from an xmas and new year break in Los Laureles. We had a wonderful time. The food was absolutely brillant, Mark is a gifted chef, every meal was wonderful, the Christmas day and New Years Eve menus were stunning. It was really the best food we had in Andulusia and the best value. Mark and Sandra are both... More

Stayed here for a week with my girlfriend and it was absolutely brilliant. It's a small, charming B&B with three rooms, a restaurant downstairs and a pool terrace which overlooks almunecar and the mountains. It has plenty of parking if you have a hire car, although it's only a 10 minute walk into the town. The owners are lovely and... More

This is my first review on Trip Advisor. I felt I had to tell everyone about this lovely restaurant. Such a pretty place with a beautiful view. There are also a few very comfortable apartments attached to the restaurant. Sandra and Mark (the owners) were lovely. Chatty and friendly but also very professional. They made us feel very welcome. The... More

We ate at Los Laureles Restaurant during a recent trip to our apartment in Almunecar. It is a top class restaurant set on a hillside with beautiful interior design, and a stunning terrace with views of the town and sea below. The food was awesome! Make no mistake - this is a Michelin class establishment. We loved it! We are... More

We ate there three times and the food was to die for. This saves the endless walking around trying to find a restaurant of true quality. Save your legs and visit here to sample fine dining at a sensible price, Fish or Meat the choice is good, great starters and a choc fondant that oozes class. Howard and Hil More

I try to make a rule of only eating at restaurants and staying at hotels personally recommended to me. Los Laureles is one such and I wasn't disappointed. We were a party of six and took it as a good sign that a high percentage of tables were full mid-week. We hadn't booked but I think we'll have to on... More

We really got lucky with Los Laureles. The accomodation is inceadible value, a beautiful old restored building, elegant rooms with views across Almunecar but only a short walk into town. Marc and Sandra who own the hostel / restaurant couldn't have been more helpful. I've only eaten in Michelin star resaurants a few times but the quality of food at... More

Very nice place to stay. Lovely couple too! Bed and room are great. Also the view from your terrace is very nice. Especially in the evening with all the citylights below you. More
